Ulquiorra is about to die from Ichigo's hands. This is the very definition of predictable.
I predicted Ishida would fight him briefly and not keep up. I predicted that Ichigo would get nailed as soon as Orihimme showed up and that Orihimme would be all whiny-shit, and then that Ichigo would either go into his inner world or succumb to his hollow.
If Kubo goes the way I wrote my crappy fanfic about and doesn't change from here on out, then his story is pretty stale and predictable.
In Naruto, nobody could have predicted Hinata would get involved or confess her feelings (despite whatever followed). That's what made it interesting. What made it not-so-interesting is that they knew she would survive.
