The only people who knew are the one who left Soul Society (Vizard, Urahara..etc). Why they kept it secret?...I don't know. Aizen probably had a good alibi and managed to escape the blame.

This was explained. Aizen had an alibi. No one knew about his Shikai at the time and Shunsui saw him walking around. People would believe a captain of 1000 years before they'd believe a captain of 10.

also, about how Aizen got away with turning most the captains into hollows;
Shunsui and many others saw Aizen around during the time the thing was taking place (which was of course not really him). we have no idea on the specifics of what happened to the captains turned Vizards after urahara saved them. assumably they were either hidden and kept a secret from SS by Urahara, or they were exiled from SS. probably they were kept a secret from SS, because Urahara would have thought they'd be killed. we do know Urahara and mustache guy were blamed for what transpired, leaving everyone who knew the truth aside from Aizen,tousen and Gin labeled as criminals, or MIA and wouldn't be believed.
That being said, it still doesnt seem to me like SS should have fallen for it so easily.
That and how the 3rd seat of 5th squad was killed off and no one seemed to care. especially Shinji who has been suspicious of Aizen since the beginning.

It may be, but I'm hoping for some sort of a twist where everyone is faced with having to face off an evil Ichigo. It would make it much more interesting.

That's also already been done in a ton of mangas... Inuyasha does it even, where he goes into more of a demon state when near death and starts killing innocent people and Kagome is like INUYASHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA and he reverts back and is all sad that there is blood on his hands and he can't wash it off no matter how much he tries.

Sure, Ichigo is strong for X reasons and his inner hollow seems strong, but I don't see how this would make any sense. Vasto Lords aren't just there, aren't they a late stage evolution of a hollow after so much time and consuming others. Like the adjuchas and menos, eventually at the end is vasto lords right? The generals that lead them. I don't think his inner hollow could just be a vasto lord without actually being in the outside world first eating up other hollows. But I'm sure he's strong and there are reasons for that.

I don't see tite writing himself into a corner. He is just dragging this out and will get somewhere eventually. Wherever that is, it's already planned for, it's honestly ignorant to think that he doesn't know where he is going and that he is only writing this one week at a time and doesn't have a real plan or plotline that hes eventually getting to.

I think it's pretty cool that the spoiler has the horns and the OLDDDDD cover also has that horn. It's really interesting to think that Ichigo may have a segunda form. I have been saying for a while that I was looking forward to either A) Full Hollow, B) Ichigo evolving into something we and/or noone in the manga even knows exists (kinda like super sayian noone had seen one, but something thats new would be even cooler) or C) orihime going pheonix and blowing everything up. My hopes were mainly for ichigo though, and even though I was reluctant to look at the spoiler im happy I did.

My thought was somewhere along the line before the SS arc when he first starts fighting hollows somehow a Lord was "made" inside him. Something like a side effect of taking Rukia's powers, since she had the cube inside her at the time (i don't know how to spell it). Taking her powers might have "lit up" the cube inside her, pulling the vasto into ichigo etc etc.

Either that, or this transformation is when the inner hollow has a more complete control, the "horse and rider changing positions" as the hollow stated during his vaizard training. The fact that ichigo is changing once he has a hole in his chest, and during his vaizard training if you watch, his transformation into a hollow flows from the same part of this chest. That might not be coincidence.

So it seems the way Ichigo works is: Trains for power -> Hits limit on what he can do -> Inside hollow takes over and gives him advantage -> wins fight -> rinse and repeat.

I'm kinda disappointed with the manga atm. I understand most shonen manga have this weird power up and shit but Ichigo just went from getting his ass handed to him to virtually taking off an arm from Ulq in an instant. Need explanations! Hope we get em next chapter.
