Yeah, that was the main problem. Matsumoto taking on three fraccion without a bankai = lame. Hinamori = Lame. Stupidly drawn out fight with Allon = lame, and the waste of a semi-decent shake up in this fight. I like Izuru, I like Hisagi, but the rest of them can go the fuck away.

And the Soi Fon fight, are you fucking kidding me?

I applaud your post, and approve completely of it. I agree that people are way too fast to /bandwagon on the Bleach hating. I stopped reading Naruto a very long time ago, but from what I remember early on, and it probably still happens, how many times does the Fox Demon or whatever come out and save Naruto's ass as he's getting wupped or about to die. I remember a decent amount of times, and now there are hundreds of more chapters. because Naruto does it, it's okay? But for another character it isn't?

personally the difference here in how the authors of the 2 stories presented their facts.

bleach has grown a habbit of late of disagreeing with previous facts established by their own story. people really hit a wtf moment with ken pulling a ko out his ass because it used none of the story's established facts about gaining power (kubo's like "i know i have been telling you that the only ways are through shikai/bankai/shinpo/kidou etc. but no, this also works) ok... not too terrible but still contradictory.

where as naruto from day 1 talked about naruto having the demon fox sealed inside of him. and since then the author has been supporting this fact over and over and over again. why was he such a horrible ninja? because his chakra and the fox's don't play well together. why was naruto placed on a team with kakashi (who hadn't lead a team in a while, and is CLEARLY above and beyond most junin) because naruto was a great risk because of the demon fox.

Right before Kenpachi used his move he explained how Yama-Ji told him that two hands equals more power. It is also pretty common knowledge that if you swing an item with two hands it has more force. It fits perfectly with Kenpachi's mind set.

Also, Ichigo has been the same as Naruto in almost every aspect. Since the first manga it has been shown that he is not normal. The reason he has not always dominated every fight is because he can not fully control his power either. Once he manages to control some extent of his power he pulls the victory.

The author of Naruto makes it more obvious while the author of Bleach generally makes it more subtle. It is not hard to look back on previous chapters and see small hints of why things are happening this way. Too me it just seems like everyone can only remember 10 chapters and the rest is forgotten.
