Seriously, folks. This chapter means it's time to stop. I'm unsubscribing this thread, I really, really have lost my last shred of faint, desperate hope for anything that could ever be salvaged from this manga. It's just past the point where it's worth even keeping up with it, every chapter spoiler makes my teeth hurt. I wish you luck if you keep up with it.

you know.. One thing I would actually like to see, and could plausibly make sense and not "come out of nowhere" is;
if, when his "pedals" completely disappear he gets stronger, or unlocks his bankais true potential etc etc.
The pedals do indeed disappear over time, but the only comments made about them were from that #11arrancer who assumed the bankai would break once all of them were gone.

That fight really did not need to be stretched out, it made Komamura look rather weak. Not a very good episode.

Need to stop posting under the influence. Uh, well, this is embarrassing. I'm not really... anybody, I guess, I've only posted a couple of times. I don't post often because, well... I have little but contempt for bleach now, and there are enough people calling it names and kicking dirt in its face. I wouldn't want to be a troll. You shouldn't necessarily care what I think (I have no idea why I mentioned subscribing), but then, why would I care what you think? I guess that's just the internet.

I just want to say I'm not a total bleach-hater, I really used to enjoy the series. I could still watch the first couple of arcs, up through soul society. Hell, I even enjoyed the Bounto filler arc! And Pendulum was really well-done and enjoyable. I just have the same problem so many other people do, which is that NOTHING HAS HAPPENED SINCE. Ulquiorra died. And this may not be permanent. Aizen arrived. Inconsequential serfs fought and/or died. And? What? I won't apologize for calling this series a fucking abomination. But I will probably still keep up, and keep reading you guys fighting with each other, because honestly I've got nothing better to do. I do appreciate all the info people give in this thread, it's very entertaining.

I cared about the halibel fight until it was shown that hitsugaya wasn't defeated, now I really don't give a shit what happens to either. Still hoping hitsugaya gets owned but whatever. I mostly just want kubo to stop doing the two different battle per chapter thing. I know he's been doing it and stuff but... I needed something else to bitch about.

Dude I've posted that I'm done with Bleach a couple of times. Right now I'm just holding out for the Stark and Shunsui fight because I'm losing interest in it too (as are most of us). You don't have to not post.

It's just for a first post, declaring that you're done with the manga is out of left field as we don't know who you are.

Also I agree with the Po vs. Koma part. I liked the stretched out part so we could see more of his Bankai but it made it seem more of a struggle than it really was.

I'm sure you'll be bitching once Stark and Shunsui don't release because they're trying to avoid going 'all out'. Isn't that nearly every fight in Bleach?

Haven't been reading the manga (I prefer having the book in my hands then trying to read it on a screen) so I can only comment about the anime.

That said the last episode was rather weak, Cue-ball dude went out like a punk, when I'd bet cash he is the best fighter out of the other dudes guarding the pillars. The Whale power up bit seemed rather silly as well, and as much as I like wolf/dog captain seeing him go up against a grunt seemed rather overkill.

Only thing I'm looking forward to out of this is seeing Shunsui vs Stark, I have yet to see Shunsui fight save when he went against the old man, and during the movie(?) where he got punk'd by Hitsugaya's old friend and his two servants, which I thought was complete BS.

I usually like JP voice actors, but sometimes they just don't stack up to western voices. Cowboy Bebop is a good example.

I really liked the DBZ and Trigun dubbed VAs better also.

Right now though I just want to see Hitsu get obliterated hands down. Barragan, Stark, and Halibel had better all still be alive when the Vaizards get there.... that is if Kubo even remembered the Vaizards are supposed to join the fight.

Someone needs to draw a picture of Kubo hard at work witting out the next chapter with the Vizard's crowding around him saying "Kubo Kubo, let us fight in this chapter" and Kubo says "Um..who are you again?"

Yeah, in the manga Komamura still got knocked away, but came back and one shot him with his Bankai. It showed the difference between a captain's Bankai and Ikkaku's. The drawn out fight just sucked though, it made it look like Komamura was rather weak and he HAD to go all out on a fraccion.

Can't believe people are complaining about what make weekly shonen series what they are.

Long drawn out fights and power ups are pretty standard.

Yeah it sucks most the time, but eventually we will get to a string of good chapters just like always.

Some are funny, some manage to put interesting twist in their drawn out battle, some will make you cares about the character before making them fight, instead of tossing insignificant characters against each other for weak.


It's not the first manga to have drawn out fight, it's probably not the worst either, but this arc has failled horribly at keeping thing interesting.
