Remember, the manga is read from RIGHT TO LEFT... So pages are turned left, to right... are you with me? So the sound effect circled at the bottom, would carry over to the other page, it was coming from hitsugayas attack. I put an arrow pointing at starks reaction, he is surprised by something - he is greyd out, typically indicating this is something else other than the fight hes in. But still, he is shocked by something... he looks up, "What is that?" as pointed out... Oh look, Halbiel says the EXACT SAME THING, as arrowed.

Its hitsugayas attack, those are clouds, shinsui fell off the roof, he is not included in these pages.

Sorry for the bad paint job, kinda doing other things and don't care cause I felt it was pretty fucking obvious. As usual, this chapter like others, is not about starks fight, it is about Hitsugaya. His fight is the main one going on, the most important to the fanboys since hes the #1 character, they only put the stark/shinsui panels in to show Stark get intimidated and whatnot by the immense size and power of Hitsugaya's attack.

I think the problem with Bleach lies in the fact that Kubo is always trying to be epic. Things have to look cool, be dramatic, and thick with explanations. This way, when anything remotely epic happens, the effect is lost on us. For example, all the VC fights needed to be explained, thorough with meaning; when they were just trash. Yumichika being the only exception. Naruto for the most part skipped the meaningless fights during the Pein invasion, and when the real battle came it was completely epic. He's always trying to keep Bleach in climax mode. This wasn't an issue in the past arcs but now we're dealing with all the espada vs all the captains and the whole setup has been wearing thin for awhile now. Let's face it, the only saving grace now is how the Vaizards are involved in all of this.

Lilinette is fighting Ukitake, who takes her sword away. She threatens to kill him but he just keeps effortlessly avoiding her. He responds "You don't put your hips into it." He talks to her for about 2-3 pages. Lilinette gets her own page.

Meanwhile, Omaeda is still running for a few pages when Soifon appears. Suzumebachi is now covering her entire arm with a giant stinger. She claims she hates using her Bankai because it makes her unable to assassinate effectively since she stands out so much. She tied herself down to avoid being blown away by the next attack. Soifon then fires a huge beam at Barragan and the chapter ends with a massive explosion.

Meh. I hope that isn't all her Bankai does. Also her Bankai's name is Suzumebachi Raikou, or Thunder Lord Giant Hornet.

this bankai actually makes perfect sense for her if you think about it, even if it doesn't 1shot kill. Her weapon is for up close, assassinating (like killing someone with a knife). For her bankai to be ranged is extremely important, even if it isn't as overpowered.
