Because when Kubo was writing this he wanted to use ninjas and samurai and shit and they're just like real people with real organs and they can die too only they're already did but he wanted swords and lasers and OMGPEWPEWPEWPEWLOLMYBANKAIISHUUUUUEG but then Kubo forgot half of what he wrote and turned Bleach into DBZ.
