oooo yeah. that was a really good chapter!

I think the reason why I wasn't annoyed with this chapter was cause it made sense? I guess? Like with yammi surprising the 3 other people. that was just retarded as piss. or the hitsugaya stuff. everything just seemed way too forced and not planned really well. This chapter flowed really well

That actually was a good chapter. My favorite part was how badass Starrk is compared to both captains. He just effortlessly appears next to Ukitake (surprising him) and then moves fast enough to both dodge Shunsui and point Lilinette at his face point-blank.

I really wish the other fights were just like this one. Plus Wonderweiss appearing out of nowhere along side giant menos-thing was awesome.

Shunsui, after seeing, slashes at WW, but at that time, Stark shoots him in the back.

The two of them (Uki and Shunsui) falls to the ground, and Stark looks on.

"Sorry. Seems like Aizen-sama wants to hurry this up, sending out Wonderweiss. Nothing personal..."

Wonderweiss cries a very powerful battle cry. (OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!)

From inside the ice mountain, Harribel is seen with a mean/scary look on her face.

And the form of Barragan is seen standing amongst the smoke. Soifon looks shocked (Cez: I think)

Kira calls to Koma, "Leave this to me, please go, Taichou"
In the next second, the fire prison disappeared in the blink of eye, and the 3 people are there.

Kira: "Is it over...?"

Aizen steps forward

"Wait! Long time no see, Aizen!"

With that, the vizards have arrived.

Pretty much theorized that this would happen a few pages back. I didn't think that halibel and barringan were done yet, I think it was just a way to get the captains to exhaust their energy, and the Vizards would come and save the day.

Super-chunky (the big fucking hollow thing) blows out Yamamoto's fire prison.
Wonderweiss' battle cry breaks Harribel free from the ice prison, and she stares down Hitsugaya who is shocked. Soifon is also trembling as Barragan emerges from the smoke. Shinji interrupts Aizen after he takes a step forward.

Kira begs Komamura to go help everyone else and Sasikibe is still nowhere to be seen.

What the fuck, seriously? More filler? This only makes me hate the manga really, because it means they somehow managed to span very little content over such a long period of time that the anime, even after being nearly a year ahead awhile ago, has now nearly caught up.

That may be so, but at least the upcoming fillers are actually sanctioned by Kubo and will be giving us some info on the zanpakuto of the shinigami (well, after about 2-3 episodes of filler-filler).

All of the filler thus-far after the Captain Shuusuke arc have come straight from the manga volumes... so at least it's not random made-up garbage.

yeah, normally 2-3 chapters equal 1 episode. ever since about the HM arc, without any filler, would take 5-6 chapters.
honestly, I think the problem is Kubo loves his own art too much. So many 1 page spreads.
