I kinda feel cheated that Ukitake and Shunsui got taken out so easily. We put up with Hitsugaya/Soifon horse shit for weeks and got very little Ukitake/Shunsui action.

Ichigo is the strongest, but he's pretty much the only person in the story that actually has his lack of skill matter. Everyone else is a straight power battle but with Ichigo he's somehow "unable" to use a lot of his power through some form of inexperience/control.

The only time Yama-Ji was worried in that whole chapter is when Uki and Shunsui were falling. Every other time he shows no emotion, also where the fuck is his Vice Captain?! I have a feeling his Vice is working with Urahara on getting the other Captains back quicker.

New theory is that Yama-Ji knew how this would all play out and he is letting Aizen do his near god thing. Nigga doesn't even seem worried.
