Anyway, in regards to Isshin, I'm betting he and Ishida's father don't show up until we get closer to the king's key being made (which will obviously happen when Aizen pulls his "just as planned" card that everyone seems to agree on) and they all go to the Kings Realm or w/e where squad 0 supposedly is.

Hell, maybe Isshin ends up as the "king" or someone part of a really old, powerful and supposedly lost royal/noble family that had to go into hiding and they explain away Ichigo's plotkai as him being part of said family that only lived in this king's realm.

Ok that's probably stupid and won't ever happen, but can't be any worse than some of the other things we've seen, can it?

Hmm...does this mean Yorichi will go against Gin and then someone against Tousen (Komamura?) Cause it makes sense for Urahara to go against Aizen, but I also think it makes even more sense for Urahara to show up with Ichigo as his win card even though that's fairly lame as we all want to see more Urahara fighting. I wonder if he'll show up and it be Urahara/Ichigo/Yoruichi vs Aizen/Gin/Tousen or Urahara/Shinji/Yoruichi.

I actually believe Yorichi will assist Soifon in taking down Barragan, since he's still very well alive, and she's in a weakened state (considering her close-knit past with Yorichi as well). Tousen should very well go against Komamura, or alot of Koma fans will be pissed, considering the entire backstory they had in SS Arc. I actually see Gin fighting Love, perhaps after a little dialogue between him and Matsumoto, simply because they were both previously captains of the 3rd Squad. However, he could really go up against anyone really.

I don't see how Yorichi is going to help Soi Fon though. A long distance attack is pretty much required to beat Barragan and we don't know if Yorichi has such a thing. Speed won't help you against Barragans power, at least not offensively.

When he saved Ichigo and Rukia from Grimjow? No, I'm pretty sure he just went Hollow, fucked around, shot a Cero and that was it.

I'd wager that their hollow forms are so powerful that we'll never see a shikai from the captains or Hachi. We'll only see Bankai and some horribly wrecking kido spells from Hachi and then just standard vizard attacks from the lieutenants.

You're right, I just went back and checked the manga, he used a cero which Grimjow countered with his own cero to minimize the damage. Hmm...now I wonder if we saw any shikai's during the penduluum arc, I'll double check in a few.

Edit - Found Kensai's Shikai: http://www.onemanga.com/Bleach/315.05/15/ - hard to tell what exactly it does, seems to be wind based and blows up lots of stuff around it...

Edit2 - During Kensai's fight with Hollow Ichigo during the training, his sword is shorter, more like a dagger, which I recall was also a little more clear in the anime as well. They look like the same sword, look at where the spin hole is on both pics, compared to where the lighter and darker parts of the blade are, both in the middle most frames.

I'm thinking it's a permanent release with a special attack he can unleash a la Ichigo's, and they just didn't make a crazy name for it.
