Isshin states that "we" never found their base of operations or uncovered their goals. I doubt he is talking about Urahra/Yoruichi unless they Vaizards abandoned them as soon as they had the power.

What interests me is the manner Isshin uses talking about the Vizards. He refers to them as criminals, and infers having hunted for them. He also acts like he doesn't know much about them.... which could just be for simplicity.

But with him being good friends with Kisuke you'd think his attitude would be different, even if it's just in discussion. He would obviously know the truth about them.

So many plot holes and discrepancies it's not even amusing anymore.

The gillians spew out of superchunky's mouth while the Visored's launch a simultaneous attack on them
The gillian's face is being cut down by Hiyori using two hands
Hiyori: Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Muguruma: oooorrraaaaaaaaaaa
Muguruma Kensei launches an unstoppable barrage with his fists at the Gillians, after which he proceeds to slice off their masks

Mashiro: Mashiro kiiiiiiickkkkkkk
Mashiro attacks the gillians with kicks to their faces.
Mashiro: Kick, kick, Kicccccccckkkkkk!!!!
Mashiro leaps into the air and does spinning kicks to the gillians

Hacchi uses his fingers to say a spell, at that moment, a barrier appears above the heads of the gillians
Hacchi: Everyone's too loud, please be quiet.
Then Hacchi starts moving his fingers together and at the moment when the spell is said, inside the barrier, the gillian's body gets cut up and falls apart

The head which fell off is then cut up by Lisa
Lisa: Beat it! Huge thing!
After cutting up the gillians within the barrier, Lisa proceeds to further kill more gillians

Rose: Its coming!
Rose plases shi zanpaktou in a cross-shaped manner in front of himself and begins to address the gillians
Rose: Thats right, closer, please come closer
At Rose's words the gillians approach him, he says those words while making an action akin to playing the piano
Rose: Become a slave to my music
As soon as he finishes, the gillians start shaking and become shocked from the inside.

Love thrusts his hands into the foreheads of the gillians
Love: uzyyyyaaaaaaa
Love uses his strength to split the gillians in two from their forehead down and they then crumble
The captains see the Visoreds fighting before them and everyone is shocked.

Omaeda: stt, strong, what insane strength!!!!
Hitsugaya: What the hell? Who are they?

Aizen silently watches the Visored's fight the gillians
Suddenly Hirako appears in front of Aizen
Hirako: How's it? Suprised to see the hollow form mastered?
Aizen's expression does not change much, he only starts to smile a little
Hirako: Aizen
Hirako holds his mask with his hands and suddenly removes it, faces Aizen and says
Hirako: Lets finish this
A flash appears from Hirako's zanpaktou

I don't know, it's possible but I doubt it was intentional. I think they probably vary every time TK draws them from frame to frame.
