I think he meant Ichigo is the example of someone weak not the latter which he attributed to Barragan. Not sure I agree that Ichigo is weak in a power sense but he's definitely weak as far as strategy or variety goes.

For some reason my post got cut off. I was saying Ichigo is the best example of somebody who has a ton of strengths but is really weak because his weaknesses outnumber them.

It's the opposite of Barragan, or Achilles, or Clubber Lang, or others, who have tons of strengths and only one real weakness which happens to be their undoing.

Also I feel Starrk will last a damn good long time-- seems OP, but I think 4 vs 1 will happen...

Nah, I'm lying; 2 vs 1 Rose & Love vs Starrk-- seems like Ukitake & Shunsui will go vs Gin, and Yamamoto and Shinji will go @ Aizen, with both of them losing and Ichigo coming out of no where because of plotkai.

I also mentioned this before, but I have this HUGE feeling Hisagi will come out of all of this as the new captain of the 9th Division.

Both Hisagi and Kira will probably become captains at the end of all this. Hinamori won't since she's gonna die (lol) trying to save Aizen from a "fatal" blow.

You mean Hisagi and Kira will become captains alongside Renji and Hinamori will throw herself in front of Hitsugaya's attack on Aizen and live after being healed by Hachi or someone else.

I dunno what direction the manga is going in at this point. They killed off yet another potentially good development between Aizen and Barragan (the other one I mentioned previously was the dynamic between Orihimme and Ulquiorra) in the name of who the fuck knows what. Now with only 3 espada remaining, 2 of which we know are ridiculously strong and 1 of which is known to be weaker than the one who just died, it's obvious that the espada are not going to win this fight and that Aizen is going to have a "just as planned" moment.

Predictable manga is predictable. I was excited when Ukitake and Shunsui got ready to fight Starrk... then they messed that up. Then the vizard arrived... and nothing is happening except more drawn-out fights and deaths of only the bad guys. Why is it we only get progression when characters are dying?

hinamori will get gravely wounded, like she does every 30 seconds she gets screentime, but not killed. There's a recurring theme of women being dumb bitches for some reason. hinamori gets almost killed every chance she gets, rukia goes off and does something stupid, forcing ichigo to go save her yet again, (which is getting really fucking old, btw).

Only positive i see coming out of this arc anymore is we'll possibly see Hisagi's bankai. REALLY expecting full-on grim reaper from him, making tousen "know fear" as he likes to say.

What kind of stupid things Rukia did? I can't really think of anything, unless you're looking at the anime fillers and movies. She got wounded early in the manga because of Ichigo, then got kidnaped, and hasnt done much since then.

also, I bet she's gunna "die" to yammi. or probably since he's #0. he's gunna kill chad, ishida and rukia... and then ichigo is going to struggle fighting him. wasting a good 20 chapters.

we'll probably get to that when halibel and starrk die and the faceoff between the ex-shinigami starts.

what I bet happens is aizen gathers EVERYONE to fake karakura town. releases shikai(mabye bankai?) lulls people to sleep destroys the 3 pillars/real town gets kings key disappears to the king dimension or whatever and so begins the next arc

That's where I see the manga going
