Yeah agree with this. Highly doubt it's Ichigo with his whole honor bullshit. From every fight I can think of, he's never attacked someone with their back turned to him.

I don't think anyone's fast enough to travel a long distance and stab Staark without him noticing it so it's probably either someone everyone thought was dead, someone closeby, or someone he wasn't expecting to attack him.

Depends on how you look at the picture, but I see that as a shot of something from the front, rather than a stab from the back. Looks pretty wierd though, can't think or anyone who realistically fits the type of sneak attacking, with enough strength to suprise and wound Starrk.

Well after Barragan's defeat to Hacchi, I think everyone stepped down Starrk's true battle prowess a few notches, even though he's the Primera.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if it was Gin, as he's a huge sneaky motherfucker. Aizen doesn't give a fuck, Tousen would have to use Bankai to get that kind of reach, Wonderwisse is stil muling over his monster's death, and Harribel is in her own fight.

It could be Uchitake as well, since he could have been using a feint like Shunsui to remove himself from battle (but it's less likely).

Probably less of a chance for it to be Urahara as well since I think he'd go up directly against Aizen, but it could very well be Isshin just to throw him into the fray randomly.

Like I said earlier, I doubt it's Gin, but we have no idea what Gin's motivation is, what he plans to do, or what he's thinking. For all we know Gin's the one actually ordering Aizen around. All we know about Gin is, is that he likes to fuck with people, and does/did have some kind of relationship with Rangiku. he's the shadiest fucker in Bleach.
even with that said, I doubt there'd be anything to gain from Gin attacking Stark right now, even if the plan was to kill all the shinigami, arrancar and vizards.
I'm still sticking with it's Rose's attack.

Don't wanna go over board, Gin doesn't control Aizen in the least-- unless it was sarcasm. He just loves to intimidate others and fuck around and cause mischief (hence the face of a fox like Naruto) We'll soon see what's going down regardless, interesting chapter if nothing else. ~
