ok, so nvm about it being Rose's whip.
though I can see why someone would be able to sneak up on stark. He said the wolves were stark/lillinette, so I can only assume it lowered his strength if hes dividing some of his power.

There's special emphasis on when his foot touched the pole. While I'm sure it's someone on the battlefield that did it (and someone he wasn't expecting, at that) I'm also sure he's not dead. It looks like a generic attack that'll just open his eyes a little.
I hope the following:
1) If it was Aizen, I hope he unleashes a massive attack that finally puts Aizen in his place and at least does something. I'm tired of all of this LOLIMAIZEN CANT TOUCH DIS crap.
2) If it was someone else, I hope he still unleashes a crapload of fury before just leavint the battlefield, cursing Aizen in the process.
3) I hope Halibel maybe sacrifices herself in Starrk's place and tells him to gtfo of dodge.
Starrk's probably the only villain I'd want to survive this encounter. I didn't even like Ulquiorra that much. If all we get to see of his abilities was unlimited ceros and exploding dogs then Kubo dropped the ball big time.
^ Good luck with #1, we're not going to see that for a long time. And yeah, if that's all Starrk was capable of, I don't really see how he is that much stronger than Barrigan.
Kubo has plotted himself into a serious corner, most Espadas 4+ have taken literally months of fighting to die (Grimmjow, Uli, even Yammy), so to watch #2 get killed within a few chapters makes him seem comparatively weak, even if it took 2 shinigami and a vizaard to kill him. So I'm guessing every fight of this arc will be a 3 or 4v1 just to hurry things along.
And to be honest I prefer it that way; Kubo is incapable of writing or drawing an action sequence that's easy to read, and watching them get stretched over 10+ chapters makes me wanna rip my eyes out. "AH-HA you thought you had me butwaitthere'sMORETOMYPOWERRAAAR" back and forth forever was old when DBZ did it.
meh, not gonna bother commenting on the chapter right now since it's all been said already pretty much and will just look forward to next week's spoilers where I'm sure we'll have been trolled again.
In the meantime, more filler ep titles:
Looks like still more shinigami vs zanpaktou fighting even with Muramasa having retreated.Originally Posted by Wiki
Does everyone like Byakuya as much as me? Everytime I see him I shiver and squeel like a little girl.
really hope the "byakuya's betrayal?" episode isnt what it sounds like; he pretends to be a bad guy to secretly help everyone etc etc. That story bit is played the fuck out.
I'm guessing Byakuya is already reconciled with his sword and is inside the suit of armor that his sword manifested as.
It's Gin.
I really hope it's Aizen or Gin. If it's anyone else then Kubo is a fucking retard who doesn't know how to use his best characters right. I also hope he's barely scratched.
I bet it was Gin and he will end up saying something like "Stop fucking around, kill these fuckers or I'll have to kill you." It will be a moment to stress how far ahead in power Aizen, Tousen, and Gin are compared to every one else.
Gin doesn't seem like the type to say something like that. He'd smile and say something sincere like he always does. Something like, 'Woops, didn't mean'ta cut ya.'
while your use of the word sincere if off, more or less yeah, Tousens the little aizen mommies boy he thinks everyone should do things proper.
Gin has always been sincere throughout the manga. Right down to apologizing as he left SS, or calling Aizen out on how he acted with Tousen/Grimmjow.
I know he has. but him saying "Woops, didn't mean'ta cut ya." after he purposefully cut someone, wouldnt be sincere.
you're right, it'd be evil and funny as fuck just like Gin is.
