You can't put anything into those "Captain ratings" from years ago. Everyone's gotten stronger and learned/used different things that Kubo hadn't even thought up yet when those came out. The only reason I think Unahona's probably insanely powerful is her constantly calm demeanor and how all the other captains, especially the older captains (Utitaki, Shusui, etc) all fear her to death D:

As for the bodies, while the female body does have the stockings, I don't remember Urahara being significantly shorter than her like that. Also the pants look more fluffy on the bottom and less like a captains cape/garb whatever.

We had speculation on this years ago, not even gonna bother looking for it at this point cause it's so far back. I brought it up at some point and we discussed it for a while. But honestly, for now, who cares cause kubo is a fucking twat when it comes to this shit and half the reason most of us don't like bleach as much as we used to is cause we guess the entire next years worth of bleach in the thread and hit the nail on the head everytime with it. He gets so predictable, and it makes us enjoy the manga less by actually going "oh hey, what if..." and guess what, it happens. every. fucking. time..

Actually it can fit into the story, considering Urahara delves into body swapping and artificial souls/bodies for heading to earth and such. Another point, it's never explained just HOW Urahara was able to preserve and sustain life in all of the Vaizard after they became Hollows, only that he was successful obviously. This might tie into that (and subtly hint that Urahara and Youruchi are Vaizard as well).

I also saw that Isshin story coming from a mile away. XD

That's also what I think. No one die in Bleach, so they are definitively not dead, and body swap would explain how they managed to passed the power limit.

Yeah I have to agree, especially because I expected something Byakuya related considering the ending of the last episode.

Seriously if that was the extent of Stark's power I don't see a reason why Barragan couldn't beat him with his "lolIageeverything" attacks.

It's pretty lame but I'm just wondering how they're going to have Ichigo swoop in to save the day this time when Soul Society's most powerful are already in the mix. I can't ever see Ichigo being more powerful than the captain commander even with his total BS abilities.

Well, the way I'm rationalizing it to make it sound less lame is if hundreds of Hollow pile on top of each other, you get a Gillian (so hundreds of souls). Eventually some developed intellect and to get stronger ate other Hollows (so add on all the souls they ate). And then the ones that had become the strongest, thus eaten the most, eventually became Aizen's espada. Since they only moved the people, couldn't move the actual land of the city, it kinda makes sense... right?

Of course.. I could 've just put more thought into it than Kubo, and he's just gonna go with "these are super strong souls, they equal 100,000 so it all works out!!!"
