Seriously if that was the extent of Stark's power I don't see a reason why Barragan couldn't beat him with his "lolIageeverything" attacks.

It's pretty lame but I'm just wondering how they're going to have Ichigo swoop in to save the day this time when Soul Society's most powerful are already in the mix. I can't ever see Ichigo being more powerful than the captain commander even with his total BS abilities.

What made Barragan tough was getting close to him basically mean age raep. Think the only reason Stark could've won out was just by potentially pelting him with rapid fire cero from afar.

Starrk has a flashback where he asks if he can join Aizen's Espada.
Shunsui kills Starrk. Love comments that he hasn't changed.
Shunsui answers that a war has no good outcome.
Hitsugaya and Hiyori are still arguing while Halibel and Lisa fight.
Suddenly, Aizen looks up. "That's enough Gin. Let's finish this."
He disappears and reappears next to Halibel.
"Aizen-sama..."
Aizen kills Halibel. "I have no more use for you. You're not good enough to fight for me. Gin. Kaname. Go."
End chapter.

When Shunsui calls out "grey" he cuts Starrk shallow and explains that you can only damage someone proportional to the amount of color they have and only in the place where they have it - damage is increased the more color you have and the area is increased the more color they have.

So with that being the case, how did Starrk get sliced across the chest when Shunsui yelled "black"?

I'm going to agree with this until we see otherwise. Or at the least, it's the deaths of 1-3 (and fraccion) that somehow create enough energy for the King's Key since the rest were killed in HM. I mean, considering we've slowly been learning that most of the Espada didn't really care for Aizen other than getting power from him, and we already knew Aizen is the type to use anyone to further his goals, it does make sense. I wonder how long before he turns on Gin and Kanami...

Hmm if that does turn out to be true and the King's Key is created next, and Kubo is making an Isshin back story shortly after, it means we can all go back to speculating for weeks about the connection of the King's Dimension, Squad 0, How it relates to Isshin and thus Ichigo while chapters -90 to -whatever come out.../sigh

I read how he explained it, he said that you can only cut the color you call and that the amount of risk involved (i.e. how much you have showing vs your opponent) determined how much damage was dealt. Starrk's outfit is black pants, black buttons, grey sleeves, and white everything else. Where on his body is glaring black large enough to be cut down?

Stark is stubbed by Kyouraku right from the front.
A lot of blood spills from his torn chest.

Inside the fading consciousness of fatally wounded Stark
[we see] his meeting with Lilynette
He remembers how he could think he was not alone anymore for the first time.

A naked form of a child appeared before Stark
This child just silently and feebly sat down
This was Lilynette

The two of them shared a cold conversation not looking each other in the eye

Stark: Do you have a name?

Lilynette: Lilynette. What about your name? Having the nerve to ask mine first

Stark: Stark
Lilynette: Stark... What are we gonna do from now on?

Stark: Whatever we do, we can do it
Lylinette: Then where are we gonna go?

Stark: Wherever we go... let's go there together, Anywhere

Stark, who's been all alone before then, now was with Lilynette from that point on
"I'm not alone anymore", he could think it from the bottom of his heart

At one time Stark and Lylinette, usually living quietly, killed a whole mountain of hollows due to his incredible power, and Aizen suddenly appeared before them

Aizen: It's wonderful! It was you two who killed all these hollows?

Stark: No. They just decided to die on their own

Stark, looking at Aizen illuminated by moonlight, said
Stark: You seem strong

Aizen: Oh, really... And I happen to search for comrades, you see
Stark: What a coincidence. We're doing the same thing. Are your comrades strong, too?

Aizen: if you want to find out, come with me

Stark: I'm coming then. It doesn't seem that you die even if you're around us.
Stark mutters

Stark: Sorry, Aizen-sama. Doesn't look like I'll return the favor, after all. (kuro's note: he means "you didn't die in my presence, sorry I can't return the favor")

And Stark, on the verge of faling down knackered, remembers Lilynette's smiling face

Kyouraku expressionless watches him fall.

Love and Rose appear behind Kyouraku's back

Kyouraku: I'm just glad you're alright

Love: ... You haven't changed at all. Still like to interfere with others' fights. You have no style.

That's what Love says to Kyouraku with the look of resentment and hatred in his eyes. Kyouraku meets Love's eyes for a moment, but quickly turns away and Love and Rose can't read his expression

Kyouraku: To drink with style and throw away victories is a thing suited for underlings. Taichou can't say such easygoing things. There's no acting like a good guy. Whether you loan or borrow, once a war starts both are equally bad. [TN: meaning whether you strike your opponent or he strikes you - both dirty business]

When he's saying this his eyes are the eyes of a dead man.

Aizen all of a sudden makes an apearance during Hirako and Gin's fight

Aizen: That'll be enough, Gin. Wrap it up.
Hirako: ... what did you say?

Lisa, with her mask on, fights Hallibell 1-on-1
Lisa: Tsubuse (melt), Tekkonzu Tonba (Iron rice-water dragonfly)

Here Hiyori and Hitsugaya also join the fight

Hiyori: Kakuorochi!! (beheading serpent)
Hitsu: Hyourinmaru!!

The fight is not settled yet, but Aizen makes his appearance again at the place where they fight
Hallibell: Aizen... sama

Hallibell has the expression on her face as if wondering why Aizen came here. Aizen with his expression unchanging cuts down Hallibell right from the front

Hallibell is shocked by Aizen's sudden betrayal

Hallibell: Wha-...

Aizen: I'm through with you. After all, this power of all of you is not enought to deserve the right to fight under me. Gin, Kaname, let's go.

I dont think they can use the Espada to fuel the key, because no one dies in Bleach, and "cool" character are going to come back one way or the other as good guy.

Nah. Aizen will probably succeed in destroying Karakura Town to make the key. But it won't matter because after Aizen is defeated Hachi and Orihime will restore the town from the key using everyone's memories. I'm also guessing it will be some kinda kumbaya hand in hand circle around the key to "Help the spiritual energy flow better"

Aizen will probably make the key, he'll lose to Visored-Ichigo in a battle to the death, everyone mourns the loss of Karakura town, then Ishida, Chad, and Ichigo get the idea to hold hands and focus their reiatsu into Orihime, who uses every ounce of her will to "un-happen" the destruction of Karakura town. At this point, Orihime, in her divine power, realizes she doesn't just have the power of god... she is god. After a heartfelt, tear-filled goodbye, and last, passionate kiss with Ichigo, she wills a King's Key into existence(without a spiritual sacrifice), and ascends to her place on the throne, taking one last look back at her beloved Ichigo before disappearing forever.

But of course, not a single character will think to mention why she didn't just "un-make" Aizen himself and avoid the whole incident.
