Aizen cuts Harribel and says:

Aizen: "I didn't expect this.
I went to the trouble of gathering you espada,
but　unbelievably it seems that the strength of all of you is less than mine alone."

Harribel: "Aizen...!!"

Harribel can barely say anything, her voice is filled with hatred at Aizen's betrayal.

She aims her sword at his chest and thrusts into it.
Although it hits its mark, Aizen's expression doesn't change.

Aizen: "...How troublesome..."
At that instant, somebody pierces Harribel's left shoulder from behind.

In front of her is Aizen, but it reveals itself to be an illusion and splits into 2.
She turns around and Aizen is there piercing her with his own sword.
Aizen: "You won't be allowed to swing your sword again."

As he says this with disgust,
Aizen swings down the sword with Harribel still skewered on it and says,

Aizen:" Now, shall be begin, Gotei 13 and the poorly made pseudo arrancars?"

Mashiro, Kensei vs WW

Mashiro: "Look at that..."
she says after seeing Aizen cut down Harribel.

Mashiro: "The last espada...is defeated..."
Kensei: "Mashiro!!"
Mashiro: "Right!"
WW, whom she thought was beaten, suddenly attacks her.

Kensei calls out at WW's counterattack,
She notices too and kicks WW in the left cheek.

Kensei: "Mashiro, against enemies of this level, you'll be exhausted! Put your mask away and recover!"

Mashiro: "Boo! Kensei's being silly.
Don't you think I can use my hollowfication?
15 hours, you know! 15 hours! I can stay this way till midnight!"

WW: "Oooo Aaaa"

WW doesn't learn from experience so he attacks Mashiro again.

Mashiro: "Stubborn!"
She grabs his face with one hand and throws him to the ground.
WW: "Aaaaaaaa"

WW lets out a war cry and gets up, grabbing Mashiro scarf.
Using it he forcefully throws her.

Mashiro: ".....How dare you...
My scarf is ripped...
I won't forgive you!!
Take this! Mashiro Super...Cero!!!"

ＷＷ：「オアああああ」
WW: "Oooo Aaaa"
Mashiro's cero's is extinguished by WW's war cry.
Mashiro: "What! He extinguished it! Fine then. Mashirooooooo......."

Suddenly Mashiro's mask breaks.
Mashiro: "No way. My time is up?"

WW sticks out his tongue and makes a weird smile.
With his fist he hits Mashiro in the face.
She's knocked back.

WW goes in for the kill and lets out another war cry as he raises his fist.

His fist has been stopped by Kensei's left hand.
In his other hand he's carrying the injured Mashiro.

Kensei glances at Mashiro to make sure she's alright, then his expression completely changes.
With an angry, threatening face he says to WW:
Kensei: "Sorry, but I'm not the kind of adult who can make allowances for kids...!"

Sparks fly..!?

Now that I think about it if the way Aizen recruited stark means anything, I think he was really just messing around without trying to hard to make sure that they were all the strongest hollow in HM. Probably going with the "Experiment is fail, got some data on Hogyoku, back to drawing board."

Pretty much what I was thinking. I mean, what the hell? You'd think Aizen would have known how strong the captains were versus the Espada considering he's what... known them ALL for well over 100 years?

To be fair, and I agree on all the "this is suddenly where we were years ago" thing, but while Aizen knew them for 100 years, I doubt Aizen has specific knowledge of the bankai's/"true strength" of at least half of the current captains/vizards. I mean, during the time Aizen was both VC and Captain, those who were already captains probably would never show/explain their power to him (Ukitaki/Shinsui/Unahona especially). I'm betting he never really knew the vizards true/original shinigami powers either (we already know Shinji kept him at arm's length away, so no way he would have explained his power to Aizen) and it's still unpredictable to Aizen what Urahara did to the vizards. As much as I dislike this all seemingly turning out to be just another of Aizen's tests since it's taken 3 years to get here...I don't really have a problem with it in terms of overall story.

Consider this, if Aizen really doesn't know the "true power" of the captains, and he's not really sure of the power the Hougyuku/other experiments has given his Espada, it makes sense to test them in an all out war. If he's even more unsure about all this, it makes more sense to trap half the captains in HM by luring Inoue away as he did. As we've clearly seen, the captains dominated the Espada. Now his test is completed, the Espada were complete failures. Now he can move on with the rest of his plan which somehow involves his Wonderweiss experiment and who knows what else.

Meh I dunno, I've enjoyed the story overall just hated how it's taken so long to get here.
