I actually like Hiyori so that was kind of disappointing (in an awesome way) to me. IMO, Ōmaeda needs to die, I think he's more worthless than Renji is.

Yeah I liked Hiyori too. I was looking forward to her meeting back up with either Urahara or Hikifune(sp?) but whatever, I'll take any progression with the death of anyone at this point. Let the ownings continue I say. Although this does present the question why Aizen even bothered with the Espada to begin with but again, who cares at this point. Screw trying to make sense out of Bleach.

Yes, I was like "wtf...?" though I guess I can understand it. I mean, Shinji has been pretty selfless and helpful when it comes to Ichigo, fairly clear he has high hopes for him in some fashion. And Shinji probably found out about Ichigo from Urahara or knowing Ichigo's dad...

Yeah, this is why I thought the spoilers might have been fake when we got them back on early Monday morning. It just didn't seem like Shinji.

Well the screaming for ichigo does make sense. He wants ichigo to get the dragon boobs back to make his wish. He knows that ichigo is currently supposed to be retrieving orihime so he's basically wondering why his punk ass aint finished and came over yet. He's not asking for ichigo to come back to fight aizen. He's really just asking for an ambulance to show the fuck up already

This has been argued all week - Shinji wasn't screaming for Ichigo because he wants Ichigo. He's screaming for Ichigo because he wants Orihimme and Ichigo went to save her. Also, out of all the women Shinji has come across he's always said he was in love with every one of them except for Hiyori. He's never once expressed any sort of emotion for her.

This is literary work at its best - his feelings are obviously very strong for Hiyori (and probably the rest of them too) because they're like family, or because he's really in love with her. His reaction isn't out of character at all. He warned her not to make a move and now she's on the verge of death. That would shock anyone. Especially if you just watched half of her body hit the ground.

Hiyori's antics still make me smile, even if they are overplayed in animes. I don't understand why some people hate her. Sadly, I can't say the scene was very moving..it's either an illusion , or Orihime is going to come back in time. No important character ever dies like this in a story (it's always a stab in the heart, or blood loss), and especially not in Bleach.

I'm fairly certain Shinji would be in shock, but it annoys me how the whole world stop for that scene. He should have been stabbed by Aizen a second after he reaches Hiyori.

I think it would make sense if it was an illusion to make Shinji drop his guard. Aizen love playing with people, and it would be a good way to make Shinji's drop his guard

Im wondering how Gin's and Hirako's inevitable fight/bankai battle will go. I'm also really really curious to see if Gin, Aizen and Kaname have Hollow masks too.

Also, in before all the Vizard transfer Ichigo their powers so he can go full hollow like he did on Ulquiorra.

Is it me or is this chapter extremly similar to the whole Nappa killing Piccolo thing in DB. The scene with Ichigo seems like a copy of Goku flying down kami's tower.

Main character running to save the day isnt new to shonen. You can probably find a similar scenes in most of manga.

Where ichigo is going anyway? Isnt he locked in Hueco Mundo?

Almost a certainty that Gin/Aizen/Tousen/Wonderweiss can do some full hollow mask shit, and either WW is just Aizen's attempt to take the nature of the Espada a step further from scratch, and is still weaker then them, or he goes full on my love for you is like a truck, would you like to making fuck, berserker full hollow mask.
