If this is true and I don't get to see any Unohana, Yoruichi, or Urahara action and Hiyori lives, I think I might actually drop Bleach unless Kubo gives a good explanation. :\

Maybe his lost pride was when him and Ichigo fought they didn't have a clear winner, so he wants to have another go at it. That and he knows how to get the zanpaktou's back to normal.

(This is true unless it has been added in the manga) Zaraki doesn't have a zanpaktou he believes that his sword is just a sword and has no ties to it. All his powers is from strength alone.

Well, in 3 more eps Zaraki is making his appearance so maybe we'll get some answers to our aged old debate on his Zanpaktou.

I'm still impressed that when we all saw the episode title of Byakuya's Betrayal a few weeks back we all thought this was going to be simple and predictable. Thus far we've been pleasantly wrong. My only hope now is the explanation at the end will be reasonable and logical and doesn't end up hurting Byakuya's character. Obviously only time will tell but in the mean time I fully intend to enjoy the ride.

If only it were Tuesday :/ I don't think I've ever been this excited over a filler lol. Personally on the issue of Zaraki, I say his sword is a zanpaktou he just wishes to not go into detail on it's abilities/name or he doesn't know how(but I doubt that's the case)

Just an FYI since you're new to the thread, you most likely won't get anyone to discuss this with you as the regulars in this thread have debated it to death. In fact, it was a banned topic for awhile because the debate just never ended. The consensus was (for most people) that it is a Zanpaktou that is constantly in Shikai form like Ichigo's (as said by Yourichi during Ichigo's bankai training) and that Zaraki really just doesn't know anything about it because he relies on his own strength instead of working with someone (something) else such as the spirit of his Zanpaktou. Until we get more information, which I'm hoping we will in a few eps, it's a very taboo topic here.

I'm not really going to be happy if Hiyori lives. I know it's Bleach but usually people die in about 30s from shock/bleed out from being cut in half. Then again Orihime will probably just reject the fact that Hiyori died on top of rejecting her being cut in half.

I hope she's dead as well. As of right now, it seems the only way to die anymore in Bleach is to one shot people while Orihime is nowhere near in sight. If she can reject death altogether then everything after the invasion of Hueco Muendo has just been one monumental trolling on Kubo's readers.

In Ichigo's fight with Zaraki, Zengetsu (sp) comments on how Zaraki's sword is screaming but he cannot hear it. So I'd assume it's not just another sword.
