"Kurosaki Ichigo!" is the new "JACK SPARROW!" epithet.
I know im probably gonna get a lot of hate feedback for this, but im starting to not really mind the chapters as they are, sure they are normally just a bunch of standing around or half page pictures and the story progression is slower than an iceburg.
But the picture quality is pretty good, the fights are always pretty amusing to read (even though we know no one will die and the good guys will win) even if we have to go thrue an entire month till they end, but thats probably because I still got a lot of free time.
Plus if you look at it in Tite's perspective its a good Business strategy, and its the way he want's to tell the story he made and how he wants it to be with out giving in and just doin what the fans want to. But that's just my opinion
Picture quality is pretty good...
Spoiler: show
Characters arent bad but shit, he is really lazy on the background (speed line everywhere). I've seen worse, but it's not an excuse for the shitty story.
That's probably why he made Hueco Mundo with the convenient why sand and pretty much nothing except a tree every few hundred miles...
And in my opinion its because he Sucks the big one when it comes to planning, he doesnt explain crap , and he has to WAY to many characters
Sounds a bit right

Bleach 378 page 01 | One Manga
For those who like One Manga's.
I do love Ichigo's new mask look... now he looks like he's a valid contender for the vizards... I just don't like this plotkai where he's a contender for Yammy, whom, if we're to believe is stronger than Stark, is now weaker than everyone else... But, also, notice that the Getsuga in the last panel doesn't cut Yammy apart, it only pushes him to the ground.
I think we're going to see Ichigo going apeshit on Yammy and then someone has to interfere because he loses it.
I am, however, relieved to see Ichigo back in the ass-kicking mode he used to be in when he first got to soul society. This emo-Ichigo we've had to put up with for the last 3 years was getting stale. This is where he should have been at the beginning of the arc - kicking ass and taking names.
I'm also glad he doesn't have the hollow form he had when he killed Ulquiorra. That would have been too much. Judging by where this manga goes in the next few weeks, this could either turn out to be very good on Kubo's part or just very terrible overall.
I also agree with Souj that having Yammy yell out Ichigo's name like that seemed more like a fanservice "CURSE YOU" moment than an in-character gibe.
Love the new mask, I hope Yammy gets beat 7 ways to Sunday.
I hope yammy at least puts up a fight and kills someone(lol yea right).
isnt ichigo technically dead anyway? I mean, didnt urahara cut off his soul chain or whatever crap, back before he went to soul society? that whole thing still confuses me
also ahhh~ at least the story is moving on, but all i notice are the giant gaps of nothingness on the pages
I personally liked the previous mask design better.
Keep in mind, we were hyped to think that all the Espada were going to be some nightmarish threat, and that the top three/four were going to be the biggest threats the Gotei 13 had ever contended with.
Of course, we were let down when Barrigan and Stark were dispatched with relative expediency, and then Halibel's even more ignominious end at the hands of Aizen, of all people. Top that off with the power Ulquiora was hiding, which could have ranked him higher than Espadas 1-3 easily.
While the infamous troll-revelation of Yammy's status holds potential, we shouldn't be too surprised to see him meet an early end, given the course of events for previous Espadas.
I think we're going to see more control from Ichigo than we did before. The new mask suggests to me a sort of reconciliation between himself as a shinigami and this "Hollow stage 2" form. He'll probably still be unleashing devastating amounts of power(which is why he drew Yammy away--so as not to disintegrate any allies caught in the crossfire), just without the indiscriminate aggression seen in the "Hollow 2" form.
If nothing else, we'll be lucky not be be graced with that silly "Hollow 2" form. Maybe I'm just bothered by it because it seemed so random.
Anyways, this new form Ichigo has taken interests me most. It seems to be a truer realization of the Hollow/Shinigami union that Aizen was after. The Arrancars were more like Hollows with some Shinigami traits, and the Vaizards more like Shinigami with Hollow traits. This new power Ichigo has seems to be about as close to a true Shinigami/Hollow hybrid as we've ever seen.
I wonder what Aizen and Kisuke will have to say after seeing him.
Troll storyline speculation: Ichigo gets captured and experimented on by Aizen which results in Shirosaki becoming a separate being. After killing everyone in Aizen's fort but Ichigo there is a final showdown a la Trigun. The End.
On topic: I'm getting pretty sick of the long, drawn out battles also but I would like to see this fight go on for a little bit because of all the trash talk that came from Yammy before. It's more of a put up or shut up thing to me. >.>
you know... at what point would you consider not wearing a ripped up, torn up shirt? Youre wearing a fucking sleeve ichigo, just take the damn thing off.
also:as far as his mask is concerned, maybe each line indicated how much of him was hollow and how much was shinigami. like depending on how much black covered his mask, 10%, 20%, the last time we see him use that mask it was almost a complete 50% of one side.
Ichigo is the only Vizard to undergo hollowfication this way, so assumably he has greater potential than all the other vizard and Arrancar that were transformed by the hyokugogokuyougokhouyko. so lets say all the espada and vizards are stuck at 60/40 ratio, and Ichigo's new mask/form is a perfect 50/50.
Good point Souj.
While he's definitely looking to kick ass as quickly as possible, I'd argue that he's still all sorts of emo. Judging from the look he gave Rukia, her speculation, etc etc... he's all emo over how his battle with Ulquiora turned out, and just wants to get everything over with.
Well, him reaching a new balance of hollow/shinigami totally fits what I figured, that Aizen left his strongest Espada behind to force Ichgo to evolve or die, and took his other experiments out for field testing/was thoroughly disappointed.
Everyone is focusing on the king's realm, but Aizen was also interested in the hollowfication process, and it seems to me that he orchestrated shit so that some Shinigami, including Urahara and Ichgo's dad would be in the human world, one or the other would have a kid, and that kid would end up getting drawn back into events so he could test other ways of mixing things up.
Ichgo is a shinigami/human hybrid in the first place, though there isn't a lot of different between shinigami and humans, but remember his dad was one, and his mom is assumed to be human.
Then the hollowfication would make him a threeway mixture, and a wonderful experiment for Aizen to observe, explaining why we get the jump from the real beginning of the story 110 years ago to the present day with Ichgo.
Oh, my only comment on the anime this week is...
Utsusemi: So broken, even shinigami use it.
