I must say, the filler is starting to get absolutely fantastic. Constant fighting, great progression, and honestly, very little of "this is my true powah!" bullshit thus far.

It somewhat has the feel of the SS arc way back when. Ichigo and company were obviously outclassed originally by all the captains they fought (until Ichigo got bankai and evened up the field). Fights had to be more cerebral and they weren't all based on one power level being higher than another. Even when Captains fought each other, it was much of the same -- think Ken vs Tosen's bankai, he had to figure out a way to defeat him even though he couldn't use any senses.

Manga is getting a little bit better was well, at least with the pacing. Hopefully Yammy will be disposed of rather soon and we can focus on Aizen, Gin, and Tosen getting involved in battle.

Lol, love how all the captains are treating Ichigo like a little bitch. Then again, considering he beat both Byakuya and Kenpachi, I don't know if they can say they wouldn't consider his help significant. Also, since Ichigo is leaving, I wonder if that means we're not gonna get to see the rest of the Yammy fight and instead we're just gonna see the group from Hueco Mundo return when things like dire back in Karakura Town..
