well i laughed at the fact after he just fucked wabisuke up, he looks around and says "whos next" and nooone of the zanpakutuo stepped up. they were all talking big, but soon as he walks in theyre like fuck that.

Im just wondering how Soifon is gonna beat her sword, I mean shes like 4 inches tall, and only needs to score one more hit on her.

the way Soi Fon was talking I wonder if she'll bring out her Bankai.
She was saying Kenpachi was fighting without class and brutishly, and then said she'd probably have to do the same. I don't remember it word for word, but it was something like that.
hmmm would they show her bankai in the filler before she's supposed to use it in the original story line?
and oh god... how would that little bee use Bankai?

I was actually wondering how Suzumebachi would use Bankai too. I think she's my favorite Zanpakuto so far, hope next week's fight between her and Soi Fon turns out good~

Suzumebachi would totally turn into a cannon all Megatron style and Muramasa would have no aim shooting with her.

Wasn't the form ichigo used from the manga?
If so wouldn't suprise me if they used her bankai.

He used his berserk Hollow form that appeared when he was training with the Vaizards -- something we've already seen in the anime. I think Kuronosan means although we have seen Soi Fon's bankai in the manga, we haven't seen it in the anime, so the chances of them revealing it during this arc are low.

But that actually brings up a good point -- shouldn't all the Zanpaktuos know their bankais since it is their power?

If Soifon somehow uses her bankai, she'd be the first if I'm not mistaken. So far in this filler arc, the shinigami seem to at most regain their shikai forms while fighting their zanpakuto.

I think this is because Bankai needs "perfect harmony" between wielder and sword.

Both Ikkaku's and Renji's Zanpakuto's went Bankai, although I'm not sure if Renji's Zanpakuto went Bankai on its own or after Renji regained it.

Byakuya's zanpaktou has used Bankai several times. but then again, both of them are probably "in harmony"
anyways, it's as simple as those who havn't used Bankai yet, wont. The only person who may not be completely subject to that rule is Soi fon, because she's the only one who has used her bankai in the manga but not in the anime.

Man, I just realized how seemingly hopeless it is for Ichigo to win, despite gaining new knowledge on Aizen. Also the fact that Aizen can use Black Coffin and other nasties as well. Then the fact he's probably a Vaizard himself.

Ikkaku can be easily explained as them both having the same mindset as far as the bankai goes. They both essentially wanted to have a fun battle. Note how the bankai didnt come out until after enough damage had been done to pique his zanpakuto's interest and get it in the same mindset.
TLDR For Ikkaku battle is harmony
