Unohana almost made it sound like Aizen's shikai isn't instant, as I can't think of any other feasible way to fight it without the earlier mentioned blindfold trick. Otherwise, those with bankai can whip out their shikai without the evocation command, so it could technically come out of nowhere unless he needed time to prepare.

Also wondering that if it is instant, he could've actually used it on Ichigo and forced him to forget about it. Also leaves the possibility that Aizen technically isn't that strong, but has just fooled everyone into believing he is. We're still missing some steps in his grand master plan, too.

What you see in the background there is an illusion, Gin and Kaname aren't standing there, and those hollows are dead.

Then, Break, Kyoka Sui-Getsu, and you see the illusion shattered on the two page spread image.

I highly doubt Aizen cares what happens to his underlings. He's not going to go out of his way to save Gin and Tousen. Hell, he actually went out of his way to kill Halibel.

You forget he only considers Gin his subordinate. He could care less about Tousen however, as he already manipulated him into his fold when he found out dude was blind to safe face.

So, Tousen is the only other person beside Ichigo who can fight Aizen? I'm kinda expecting him to get in a fight at some point, after Ichigo fails at keeping his eyes closed. (or something like ichigo --> tousen -> fully healed/powered ichigo)

Are they going to get ride of Aizen in this arc? For a while, I thought he would stay until the end of the manga, but after the recent twist, I'm starting to doubt so. I don't know if Gin will take over, or the "king" will be the bad guy, but I don't think they can drag his illusion ability longer than this arc.

Actually, the more i think about it, Gin has to be related to the "king dimension". That guy is obviously not normal, and he isn't from any known faction.

yammi has always been all fluff. and you gotta remember, even the 5th espada only took zaraki one hit to kill. he was fuckin around with him until he used both hands.

the way it seems, tousen is going to get betrayed by aizen at some point here. only then will he 'wake up' and see whats really going on. gin is probably going to betray aizen and kill him.

Gin is fox-faced like a kitsune, semi-normal manga style facery for some characters. Makes sense too, since he's devious like a fox. No need to explain Naruto as well, since his face can get like that when he smiles (and the fact he has a fox living in him >_>)

his eyes arent actually that color btw. Kubo had a colored page of him with eyes open, but it was drawn after the anime passed that part.

I think it's pretty clear who the final villain is.

I said Gin was the real main bad guy quite awhile ago. Either that or he'll become a good guy again thanks to cow tits. Or maybe Cow tits will become a bad guy!
