Who knows if it'll stay in this particular story directly. Could finish this up in 15 then do a bunch of mini-arcs, but who knows.

If trying to deduce hints from the opening, Muramasa probably has an interest in Ichigo's inner hollow. One way or another, we'll probably see him temporarily extracted from Ichigo and either he does get control, or just goes batshit because he's finally free.

Also wondering what's in the living world that he could be interested in. Guess it could be a way to get the vizards some more screen time, or possibly Urahara. Might be the latter, actually, since getting Benihime could be interesting.

As far as the anime goes, I really wanted Kenpachi to crush Ashi's head. It really didn't surprise me that Mayuri blew him up though because I was wondering about the self destruct protocol when I saw Ashi appear. I also have to agree with the above... if there was any doubt that Soifon is totally gay for Yoruichi then that's totally gone.
