Obviously ichigo is twice the level of a captain guys, yet can barely defeat #6 and #4 espada while the other captains solo the top ones.

So I just had this thought, it would be amazing if when Ichigo was in that super hollow vasto lord lol-iwin (happy?) mode, he moved around like Gumby.

I dont think Ichigo was twice the level of a captain this whole time. He got the power up probably just AFTER he got his new hollow form. The fact that he states that normally when he gets healed the cloak also is restored, but that this time after the fight with Ulquiora(sp) it wasnt is what leads me to believe he got that huge powerup.

No, that isn't the case. He specifically stated that Inoue only healed his immediate physical injuries so he could rush over to aid Renji, Rukia, and Ishida. He was in too big a hurry to wait for her to finish restoring his reiatsu.

Correct, but what I think Duwie is getting at is that his fully-cloaked form hasn't always been greater than Captain level. Basically, in the past a fully-cloaked Ichigo was at Captain level. However, now Ichigo in full cloak has a power level greater than a Captain. That'd be why Unohana was so surprised at the revelation. He was always considered at around Captain level by the other captains previously, which was when he was in full cloak, so it makes sense to assume he received a power up if his fully-cloaked form is now considered more powerful than a Captain.

Think it all goes back to what Ulquiorra said honestly. Ichigo's power fluctuates so much that honestly who's to say what's his maximum strength? Even if he's as strong or stronger than Aizen, besides the obvious plotkai that's gonna be invoked, most of his wins came from sheer luck a.k.a "willpower". Also with him being a teenager and being so emotional, I'm guessing he probably won't learn to fully control his power until the Kubo decides to put this manga to an end.

Partially correct. The main reason is because he was scared of his hollow. Not of the power, he didn't want to lose control to it.

You have to remember he was flat out refusing to use his hollow powers initially vs Yammy, so Ogihci (Hollow Ichigo or w/e you wanna call him), started to fluctuate Ichigo's power by adding his own to it and calling out to him subconsciously to use his power.

Ichigo is pretty on point now with his Hollow, so you won't be hearing that "power fluctuation" talk anymore. Just that he still holds back a little bit, due to his being slowly losing his humanity when he transforms over and over into a Hollow. (The entire "don't carve up the body" shit with Ishida, before Ichigo chucked his sword into him.)
