Honestly, I think Bleach has far too many characters who haven't done anything who we'll never see do anything. Or they will in massively ridiculous ways -- Aizen will go on to make a new, stronger army, and characters like Nemu, Yachiru, Yamamoto's VC will have to fight on par with them, etc

Yachiru is pure comedic relief. she's there to offset zaraki's seriousness, that's all. Usually those type of characters annoy me to no end, but yachiru doesn't bug me. She's actually funny.

I thought something seemed different with him, but I just thought it was me. Double checked, and his cloths did indeed change. Beyond the shoulder pad things, also seems like he gained a pair of black gloves.

I have a feeling that Tousen, Gin, and Aizen all have "perfect" Vizard transformations that is somewhat analogous to Resurrection transformations in the sense that their appearance changes beyond just gaining a mask. Aizen has already hinted at this as he scoffed at the Vizard's hollowfication, saying it was imperfect (or something to that affect).

When i first saw tousen's mask i figured it was more perfect than the other Vaizard's masks sense it was more like a helmet and covered more than just his face, sorta like shinji's (although his really isn't a complete helmet) or Shirosaki's when he pwned Ulqiorra.

Kinda fan of the series, only watch the show here and there. But can Orihime heal herself? She always gets bandaged with the others in some episodes, then when the arrancar kick the shit out of her and Grimmjoww blows them up, even under his order to heal herself she doesn't, in turn bringing them back.

IIRC, doesn't she say something to the effect of "Not until I heal them first" in regards to Grimmjow's order that she heal herself? Would imply that she can heal herself, though I'm not sure if she's ever actually been shown healing herself.

To my knowledge, she hasn't yet.

I know she does it in the fighting games like Bleach Blade Battlers, however I think it's kinda forced since she has no one else to use that power on in a fighting game but herself.

While I'm waiting for the spoilers to be posted, I was just wondering... if Komamura knows about Ichigo's hollow and Soul Society's rationalization was that he didn't choose that fate, why are they all still so bitter towards Shinji and the rest? They didn't choose it either.

Number one rule other than Kubo forgot. Soul society has lots of douches. They assumed on the first instance when they got transformed that they were Hollows.

Later on they discovered that the vizard were alive and in control of themselve. Old guy has never been good at questioning authority so he's still following the original order to kill them possibly and since he doesn't like disobedience anyone under him would be forced to kill them whether they liked it or not. The ones that have enough brains/courage to disobey would still be hurt that the vizards "never called" in all that time. What comes off a bitterness might also be badly shown uncomfortably with the situation.

Then we got a possible big one. The Vizards were essentially several captains and under that got captured, tortured , experimented on, and turned into hollow right in the middle of soul society without anyone noticing until it was too late, getting the wrong man found guilty, and ultimately completely helpless to stop it. The only reason Aizen stopped turning shinigami into vizards in the middle of soul society was the fact that doing so might clue people in to what he was trying now that he'd found a scapegoat. The only thing more emasculating would have been Kenpachi getting his ass whooped in front of everyone which we know is impossible. The fact that such a thing was possible and happened was pure nightmare fuel for them and they simply don't want to think about it. It's some really big denial there and whenever the vizards are nearby the bitterness is really them trying really really hard not to think about what they know happened in the first place. In addition they're in the middle of a fight vs Aizen right now so they REALLY REALLY don't want to think about the fact that he logically can beat them all without sweating while doing the worst thing they can imagine.

It explains Byakuya talking about not revealing the mask during his fight with Ichigo even more since he knew the first thing that would happen is a death sentence despite Ichigo being able to hold back the hollow given the past actions of soul society.
