Ichigo does have twice the power of a captain in normal mode. He's always let ichigo run around fighting battles so ignoring ichigo being in danger isn't out of character due to his general confidence about Ichigo's power. Ichigo is the main character of a shonen manga with a girlfriend capable of defeating death itself through the power of denial. How much safer can he get?
Even assuming Azien and company gets past the entire military force that soul society+vizards brings forth(which he knew about before everyone else due to being friends with sandalhat) they'd be weakened or half dead from the battle and easily picked off. He also has a penchant for random sneak attacks if you remember all the dynamic entries from Ichigo's home life so it would be quite possible nor out of character for him to outright gut Aizen as he walks through the door before any of that hypnosis shit.

Given how shonen manga operates he's quite possibly up there with Kenpachi or above in power too while having centuries more experience. The longer it takes for a character to showup as important or fight the stronger they are generally. So yes arrancar aizen gin and tousen= not a threat,

It's already been speculated that he's part of the royal guard, which is why nothing would affect him in the slightest... as he can easily have been captain level and at the same time not have been in the regular squads.

The only issue I see with this is that Unohana told Ichigo that everyone in Soul Society has seen Aizen's release. True, I'm not really seeing a situation where Aizen would show his release to anyone in the Royal Guard. You would think that an older captain like Unohana would mention this, or they would have brought in the Royal Guard to zerg the shit out of Aizen if they hadn't seen his release. Then again, this is Bleach, and I'm making the ultimate mistake of thinking while reading it.

Also, I would love to see Ichigo start losing to Aizen and have Isshin dynamic entry the crap out of him. But that's never gonna happen because when Ichigo starts losing Orihime is gonna tell him she loves him and through the power of friendship and love he'll beat Aizen...yadda yadda.

Clearly Kenpachi never saw Aizen's sword because he thought the demonstration meeting was too damn boring and wasn't paying attention.

Reading this chapter cements my belief that Tousen will be the first to die (but not Aizen and Gin, not yet). It will either be at the hands of Kensei, Komamura, Hisagi, or Aizen himself.
