Back on the subject of Isshin for a second, I was told by some people that claimed to have a reputable source that Kubo had said at one point recently that Isshin, Urahara, and Ryuken (Ishida's dad) would have important plot roles in the arc AFTER the next.
So, current > ???????? > Isshin is featured
Who knows how relevant that information is, but he did say that he definitely has not forgotten about them
New chapter is out, holy fuck on a sandwich that was awesome.
Spoiler: show
I think Kubo can plan and has some map for how Bleach is going to go... least I hope so or this has been a bigger waste of time than I wanna admit. I think he just gets too easily sidetracked by random ideas that he thinks are cool, incorporates them, and that throws the plot out the window. I bet all the fracion's abilities were just ideas that sounded cool in his head and ended up becoming characters that just kept going on and on and on.
That said, I thought it was the next arc that was going to have info on Isshin. If not, then we're fucked cause it's taken what, 3-4+ years for this arc (depending on where you draw the line). This series can't keep going on forever... right???
what constitutes the arcs in this series?
so far with my count, I think we're only on 4. (soul society, bount, zanpaktou thing and this long ass one)
my concern is if there's going to be more arcs and if kubo decides to pull a naraku with aizen, how long will the rest of the arcs last until we finally get everything resolved.
although, if aizen dies and everything is happy blahblah I don't know if I'll continue. One of my reasons for continuing reading is because I'm on this huge cliffhanger on how things will go down. I skipped out on the entire bount arc because I didn't give a shit so unless something can top the bullshit of this arc... then... we'll see what happens.
you forgot the zanpakuto ark
I dont think Gin will die. I see his ties to Matsumoto as a glint of redemption or something that will prevent him from really being evil/bad etc.
In the manga? I would say Pre-SS, SS, Vizard training and arrancar attack, heuco mungo, and now aizen in the real world.
Maybe that's a bit much, but it seems to make sense to me.
As for comparing Tousen's resurrection to Ichigo's(?) we'll have to wait until next week to see if Tousen turns into a full hollow-looking guy or if it's just like a bankai. Personally, I'm hoping that the hollow transformation is unique to Ichigo since he did become a vaizard under different circumstances.
Ichigo is the only natural vizard.
I have never read the manga but i am curious as to how far ahead of the series is the manga and anyone know where i can view it online >.>?
What if we looked at this the wrong way and Ichigo's Dad ends up being a Vasto Lorde
PLOT TWIST
Plus it would fit Kubo forgetting that Isshin was a Captain :D
Not exactly sure... I think this is right on, but I could be wrong. It's definitely not further than the anime got.

It will be worth your time reading them... some pretty epic stuff happens.
Edit: If my spot's right the manga is about 50 chapters ahead of the anime, which could be 20-30 episodes (ballpark guess?)
I actually don't believe this. I think it was more of a retcon on Kubo's behalf to further explain Hollowfication.
I mean some how Ichigo became a Vizard the minute his soul sleep and chain were broken in The Shattered Shaft, but it was explained as "if you don't do this in time, you'll become a hollow." Kubo then just used that idea later on for Shinigami -> Vizard and gave it a backstory, etc etc.
Anyways my predictions is that everyone is gonna get fucked up bad and Ichigo will semi-dynamic entry Gin or Tousen, then get his ass beat by Aizen after Aizen plays his Xanatos Gambit on him during an even matched battle. THEN you'll see epic entry by Old Man Isshin-- just before he pwns Aizen, cut to his own Arc. (actually this is a reiteration of someone else's post lol)
And fuck, Kenpachi doesn't afraid of anything. Who the fuck said he gonna die if matched against Aizen?![]()
