Where do I start in the manga or where do you recommend I start for optimal enjoyment up to current manga chapter, if I'm up to date in the anime. I can't stand the waiting anymore.

Chapter 224 volume 25 is when Chad/Renji start training. It's safe to assume it's somewhere in the next volume. Personally, i would just reread everything after the filler arc. Take 1 hour at most, and so much was changed (streched to a point it was pathetic) . Volume 21 chapter 181 is the end of the of soul society arc. Gonna take you 1-2 hour to catch up what they took 70 episodes to tell.

Got halfway through the movie before I fell asleep, seemed pretty boring, typical storyline bullcrap hope it has badass fight scenes later on or something. Currently reading the manga now, started at 225ish, now on 264 and all I have to say is holy shit :D

Kinda sad how in 272 Orihime gets beat up

Training against hollow ichigoe ended a while back, but there was a ton of filler episodes after. They are currently fighting Espada for the 2nd time, Orihime is about to get kidnaped, Ichigo fought Grimmjaws and Uraha is going to help other.

The episode where Ichigo fights Grimmjaw for the first time is definetely worth watching. I can't believe you didn't see the the "Hop-hop, Supersonic Dive" gif of Grimmjaw, lol.

Finished the manga and all I can say is omfg it's going to take them forever to get up to the manga they are moving the story so SLOW compared to the fucking manga. They really know how to drag shit out. I can only imagine how long Grimmjaw vs Ichigo is going to be. cue 20 episode Frieza-esque arc of Ichi vs Grimm?

Mentioning Frieza reminded me, Ulquiorra is such a badass lol. When he did the cero from his fingertip I immediately thought Frieza. I can't believe he's only the 4th strongest though. And didn't the guy who is ranked 5 say he was the strongest out of them all around the time when he encountered Sado-kun? That really confused me because they seem to be making it a point the arrancar in espada are ranked by their number in relation to their power. So shouldn't he be one if his statement was true?
