Mayuri fixed them all, sode explained that when they made their entrance. Still feel cheated i didn't get to see zaraki tear tengen apart.

Might just be safer to assume a true death requires a death of their shinigami. Really, the only other instance of seeing one break was Kaien fighting the hollow that killed his woman, and in turn he wound up dying going bare-fisted at it. If by some fluke he lived, he possibly could've gotten it repaired. Though, speaking of repair, I'm now also reminded of Mayuri and how he willingly broke his after Szayeal took it over, saying he'd just rebuild it or whatever.

Kind of a disappointing end to the arc. Would gladly give up the mini-filler just to have seen hollow Ichigo come out and play within the hollow muffin. A good 1v1v1 could've been epic.

I really only tuned in at the start of the Zanpakto arc and there was one thing I was wondering. How did they lead into it if they were already in the middle of the Hueco Mundo arc?

I've been manga only ever since the filler arc where Ikkaku had to teach kendo. That filler was actually pretty well blended into the time line although it was utterly ridiculous.

Depend how much your time worth. There is definitively better manga and anime out there, but if you're curious and want to finish what you started, just pick up the manga. It will take you 12 minutes to catch up.

well, for the anime, there's quite a bit of filler from ep 160 to where it is now. I think 2 full arcs.
168-189 is all filler.
230-255 is another filler arc, tho this filler really isnt that bad and I would recommend watching it if you do pick up bleach anime again.
this weeks episode was 255, and at least the next 3 episodes are all filler. might be more after that as well.

If you want to get caught up fast and just read up on the story, I would read the manga.
chapter 268 is roughly where episode 160 is, and then I'd watch some of the more interesting fights in the anime. There are a few exceptionally well done fights.
If you have nothing better to do, I'd just watch the anime. It's by far not a terrible anime, but it's a long ongoing shonen series, so it has it's faults.

and watching/reading all those episodes/chapters in near proximity, I'm sure it will seem a lot better than if you are waiting a week for a new chapter/episode.
Just whatever you do, stay away from episodes 168-189
they are a waste of space that has nothing to do with anything from the actual story, and is just a terrible terrible story.

i'm guessing that was the bount arc. About the only thing it ties into the story is a brief (20 sec) reference when ichigo is combating his inner hollow.
