The episode where Ichigo fights Grimmjaw for the first time is definetely worth watching. I can't believe you didn't see the the "Hop-hop, Supersonic Dive" gif of Grimmjaw, lol.

Finished the manga and all I can say is omfg it's going to take them forever to get up to the manga they are moving the story so SLOW compared to the fucking manga. They really know how to drag shit out. I can only imagine how long Grimmjaw vs Ichigo is going to be. cue 20 episode Frieza-esque arc of Ichi vs Grimm?

Mentioning Frieza reminded me, Ulquiorra is such a badass lol. When he did the cero from his fingertip I immediately thought Frieza. I can't believe he's only the 4th strongest though. And didn't the guy who is ranked 5 say he was the strongest out of them all around the time when he encountered Sado-kun? That really confused me because they seem to be making it a point the arrancar in espada are ranked by their number in relation to their power. So shouldn't he be one if his statement was true?

as for Noitora, its pretty much commonplace to just consider him a conceited full of shit bastard who beats people when they are down. He attacked sado when he was already hurt, ichigo right after his biggest fight yet, and apparently he bashed in nell's head from behind to "separate" them. He calls himself the "strongest of the espada" but he is only #5, and he is so far a douschebag and hasn't proved it. Although there are 2 parts to an espada, strength, and military genius, so it is possible he is the strongest physically but the top 4 are just smarter. I doubt that though as the remaining ones look pretty tough.

I think he's referring to when Noitora says "we've only been seperated for a little while" which may imply they were one being or it could just be he meant they weren't together in the ranks of espada for a short period of time or something else...

Pretty sure they've shown several random female Arrancar in Hueco Mundo, like one of the ones who attacked Orihime, and a few others. Espada, I'm not exactly sure... a few of them look like they could be either gender, and I can't exactly recall what the remaining ones look like.
