For as much as these shonen love to eschew teamwork in the face of overwhelming singles' competition, I enjoyed watching this teamwork. A few people have tricky shikai, and tag-teaming them like this was fun.

Of course, it won't work. We have Gin standing by probably doing something crafty, and there's always Aizen's shikai. Perhaps Ichigo is standing there in shock because he's wondering what in the hell they're trying to attack.

There's nothing Kubo won't do to hype up his golden boy Aizen - I'm prepared to witness any form of bullshit trickery.

Looking at this chapter it seems that if Kubo had left Ichigo in Las noches the plot would be better but since Ichigo is here things are going to get dragged out. Well either that or Gin is actually the villan and ichigo fights him.

I can see this going two ways:

Ichigo is standing there watching what is really going on, which is Aizen beating the crap out of everyone while everyone else thinks they are winning due to the illusion, and then after getting stabbed he comes out unscathed like "Hai guyz you were under my hypnosis".

or

Aizen dies and we find that Gin was the real mastermind and Icihgo fights Gin for 30 chapters.

Awesome chapter. I hope that he has really been stabbed just because I'm tired of everyone getting one-shotted and its nice to see an actual battle. If Tousen could use a hollow mask, so can Aizen, and doing that should heal w/e injury he's suffered (Think back to Harribels fraccion). Could be shaping up to have some very nice chapters. :D

Hopefully anyway, need something to save the filler that went from Great to typical filler to I'd rather go back and watch the Amagai arc.

I kinda hope Aizen hypnotized everyone into attacking Ichigo. All would be forgiven in my mind if Kubo actually did that.

I was actually hoping this would actually happen, but at this point I can't tell what direction things could be going because it could all just be an illusion.
