Also apparently it was really hinamori who was just running around raping captains and vaizards left and right for the whole last 2 chapters. Not only did ichigo sit there not saying a thing or trying to stop her as she wrecked them, but when they kicked her ass for it he was surprised.
Even if he's been using illusions, there has to be a real story behind what's going on and ichigo has to be watching it. Yet there's really no explanation behind when they switched places, or why ichigo let it happen. Just all of a sudden it went from aizen owning everyone to hinamori getting skewered. lolwut
From what I understand about Aizen's ability, once it is used, he has free reign over everyone's senses at any time. I see it like a switch: he can alter anyone's perception of reality at anytime as long as he is present. That's what I think he means when he says "when was I not using it" -- it's a permanent hax ability.
It's the ultimate plotkai. If he feels he could have any issues, all he has to do is flip the switch and just fuck with everyone--or he just fucks with everyone because he can.
In this case, I guess the main motivation here was Aizen wanted to seriously screw with Hitsu. So he taunts him about his anger, lures him into a fight, flip the switch, and swap places with Hinamori. That's the only "logical" explanation I can give for Ichigo standing there dumbfounded because Aizen pulled the swap off rather quick on everyone (also probably the reason Kubo needs a week off...).
Also, Gin's whole comment simply means that Aizen doesn't have to use his shikai to win. That doesn't mean he can't choose to if he feels like it. And honestly, if he's supposed to be a villain, he should be trying to fuck with everyone whenever he can regardless if he needs to or not. That actually makes perfect sense as opposed to what just happened.
WHAT THE FUCK IS THE OLD FUCK DOING. FUCK.
I've said it on last page, but shit, Gin said his shikai should be the least of their worries, meaning Aizen has many other way to get out of a situation like this. His shikai is simply what he uses to manipulate people since that's what he likes to do.
Stop seeing issue when there is not.
Could possibly argue that Ichigo might've been trying to say something off-panel, but Aizen had him locked out of their senses, too. When it finally did cut back to him, Aizen had lifted the illusion.
true enough
Oh there is no doubt in my mind that Ichigo couldn't reach them with his words until Aizen wanted to reveal the big mind-fuck.
My problem is that there's no plausible explanation for when Aizen switched (other than when Hitsu first attacked) and why Ichigo wouldn't just say "Hey, uh, Soi-Fon... that's not Aizen" or why he would just look over and see Aizen laying on the ground and not think "What the fuck are they all doing while he's lying there? That looks like a pretty good opening".
That's a pretty big hole to fill, considering the only explanation is that Ichigo is under hypnosis, which is untrue. He was watching the fight, not the ground. How exactly does Aizen completely destroy Love, Rose, Komamura, and Lisa, and still have time to lay on the ground and pretend to be Hinamori?
Unless Kubo's bullshit explanation is "Well he has the readers hypnotized too" then Kubo really, really, is just bad at executing suspense.
i don't even remember her showing up at this point to be honest... i mean i could be wrong because each chapter is a mind fuck so...
Byakuya and Zaraki. They represent two sides to ichigo and are the two he's closest with. I'd be willing to bet they show up at some point. So basically we have Omaeda, Yamamoto and Unohana left on the good guys side along with Ichigo?
Wasn't it also established pretty quickly that even if he wanted to be left alone he wasn't enough of an ass to NOT help people in trouble standing right in front of him?
They even had rukia give a big speech about responsibility and blah blah, while Ichigo's response was fuck that shit, I'm just helping people and i don't give a crap if you think I should do it because of responsibility.
The last chapter was a single combo from 5 or 6 characters. Their attack most likely happened over a fraction of a second, leaving Ichigo little time to react, especially when he realized they were going to attack her and not Aizen (he probably realized they were hitting the wrong target when the whole sequence was started, not before).
Also, you need to take into account that time is always fucked up in shonen fight. It's always closer to a turn based fight than a real fight, because they talk a lot, when their attack are suposed to be nearly instant.
More like he's leaving the country because there are probably people out for his life at this pointThe author is going on hiatus next week to collect additional data for upcoming chapters
To hide from the people with such distinguishing taste that Captain midget vs Gin got 5th place in their favorite fights?
I didn't even REMEMBER they had a major fight (and still don't) and they decided they liked it.
back when aizen faked his death, and everyone suspected gin.
Yeah there were like 3-4 moves exchanged between them.
think it means he hasta read his series again so he doesn't end up trolling himself. although he kinda did already. Gin talking about how he doesn't need his shikai to rape shit up and then waitnvm I've been using it the whole time! teehee >^.^< pretty dumb
all the good guys getting cut down easily is partly because they're already exhausted. except for ichigo, of course. I stopped caring a long time ago but I just want to see this arc end already so we can move onto the next one. if aizen runs away, whatever just... finish it already.
