Harribel dodges out of the way only to see that it is an unharmed Hitsugaya, she just as quickly countered his attacks. Noticeably confused as she had seen him cut down, she turns and sees that she has only struck down a ice clone. Hitsugaya claims that it was a one time technique that he was waiting to use for later in the battle but Harribel's considerable increase in power and speed as of her release was unexpected. He then comments to her not to underestimate a captain's strength.

That's just sad. I would have figured the kid would at least have not been such a tool... but while it's a nice homage to Kubo's style the characters are clearly copied (and so is the dialogue).

I guess money really can get you whatever, too bad he picked something people were going to easily notice.

I can't lie, chapter was worth it just to hear Yamamoto tell Aizen his power is still nothing compared to him. My prediction for the rest of this arc, Yamamoto goes bankai, fucks WonderWiece up, bitch slaps Aizen and Gin like crazy only to ultimately suffer fatal wounds in forcing them to retreat. Unohana becomes the new Captain Commander.

Is it me or does Yamamoto always lose his ability to fight properly whenever he does decide to fight? The only time he actually fought something where he didn't get nullified was the very first time when he fought offscreen vs Ukitake and Shunsui. Both now and against Amagai (lolfiller) he gets sapped from his powers, typical. I really don't know where the manga is going anymore but whatever, I'll see it when it comes.

That's what happens when you hype a character to be three hundred times stronger than anyone else, who are already strong. You can only "draw" a person moving so fast or slashing so hard, and on-panel, it would look exactly like Yama is fighting as fast or hard as an earlier Kenpachi or Byakuya or Soifon fight.

The only way to have those types show their power is through one-panel decapitations and whatnot. Kubo has no way to make Yama feel any more "powerful" than anyone else outside of these one-panel fights, so he has to nerf Yama whenever he'd be in a fight that would last more than one dramatic swing.

Only positive from this chapter is we finally know wtf the big deal about WW is now. At least shit is moving, even if it is a constant troll. I just hope we can hurry it up, get it out of the way, and have Ichigo just fight Aizen because it's clear that Aizen has planned everyone else out of the fight.

As for the manga, I hope Yamamoto dies. I know it would make no sense but i dont care. I hate him. Could have skipped about 18 months worth of chapters if he just got off his arse and cleared out the fracion etc, instead of just staning about being a bitch to everyone
