Was it not Wwonderwise who defeated Jushiro with only one hit? Wonderwise probably did the same to minor Kensej.

His name is Kensei, and we have no idea what happened to him since all it shows is him and Wonderweiss clashing. Hell, it's even possible that he was defeated in the first clash.

It's just retarded that a character like Kensei (who's been hyped as being extremely strong and tough) would get defeated off-panel.

I'm not recalling much Kensei hype. He just happened to be the first visible hollowfied shinigami in the pendulum arc, of which his abilities gave the others some trouble in part due to surprise. He also didn't have all of his senses about him then, so he may've been stronger in berserker hollow smash mode, but obviously limited to mask restrictions like the others.

Really, I don't blame the fight getting off-screened. WW as he was wasn't terribly important to the plot or even interesting. Even as released, we don't know how potent his ability will be. I'd probably expect it all to get a bit more fleshed out in the anime, though. It's either that or random filler.

Mashiro was fighting WW (and winning), but then her mask broke and WW put the beat down on her. Then Kensei came to her rescue and started fighting WW.

Considering Mashiro was beating WW, and Kensei was making comments about hurrying up and finishing it, that indicates Mashiro had the ability to kill WW but didn't before her mask broke. Considering Kensei should be a lot > Mashiro, and Mashiro could kill WW, that should mean Kensei should be able to kill WW before he turned turbo.

But LOL both at Bleach power levels making sense, and at a character killing another character before said character could LEVEL UP.

I think at this point it can be assumed Kensei was beating WW with his mask on, WW released and beat him, and then went after flamey old guy.

I think some of you are way too hung-up on this Kensei thing.

For all we know, Kensei was probably beating the crap out of him or he lost horribly, bottom-line is that Yamamoto got serious. This probably activated something within WonderWiece sensing the old guy's power and Aizen actually in real danger and forced him to release and immediately abandon anything he was doing at the moment. It reminds me of that one Urahara kid beating the crap outta that one arrancar once she sensed danger.

the Zan apparently believes he's only existing to kill, but this episodes basically ties up what happened to hisagi's zan cause its never shown during the normal filler filler thing.

That seems a bit of a stretch to his hang-ups about his sword from the manga.
He was "scared" of it, not afraid to kill people. He's shown no problems killing people when he needs to. Shit, fuckin stabbed his old captain in the head.

Well when he defeated his Zan they had a conversation, of which the zan asked him if they would fight again, and his response was "We will to protect someone".

It's more he prefers to protect others with his powers, not meaningless slaughter like his zanpkatuto wants.

-wonderweiss exchanged speech, knowledge, memory and reason for the ability to seal yama's RJ

-yama knocks away wonderweiss using his right hand and opens a hole in his stomach (the move is iterally called single bone)

-yama: "you think you can defeat me by sealing RJ? i've been the captain commander for 1000 years. it'll take another 1000 years before there's a shinigami as strong as i am"

-yama tries to fight aizen in close-quarter combat but was stopped by wonderweiss

-the battle is fierce, wonderweiss's hands are caught, but umpteen hands spawn from his shoulders hitting yama

-the attacks were completely useless

-yama: "is that all?"

-yama tears both hands off wonderweiss

-yama:"at least you don't look like a kid anymore. i can kill you without remorse"

-wonderweiss makes his usual nonsensical noise but his scream is filled with fear

-yama does his double fisted attack (double bone)

I'm sure Kurono will one up me and come out with a better description and pics in a bit, but for those wanting some info!
