How can you say he's NOT doing work? WW has worked over at least 2 people that were supposed to be strong as fuck. Fist through the chest, and kensei's.... disappearance? Then he gets holes PUNCHED into him by yama-ji after supposedly sealing his most powerful asset as far as most people think... satisfies my prereqs for doing work. ffs, he wailed on yama-ji, to which his response was "are you done?" do work, Yama-ji.

Yeah, beating the shit out of a released espada-level opponent with your bare hands definitely qualifies as "doing work." Yes, we all know Aizen is gonna pull something out of his ass, but I for one am enjoying this beat down.

Reminds me of back in the day when I first started reading Bleach and things were still fresh. Good job Kubo, now back to trolling.

Things like what Yamamoto said and other details have little impact on me in bleach anymore, it just seems that bleach has lost its sense of direction and background in favor of a little skirmish that has lasted over a year now. It would be far more interesting to me to see less fighting and have some more story like the "Turn back the pendulum" mini arc. Yamamoto's statement seems to be nothing more then just a show of strength rather than something that is meaningful, as much as i wish we could hear more about this unknown past we will only be treated to more pointless fighting as it seems that is the only direction the author cares about.

Yeah, saw that too. I mean, it's possible he and others were leading shinigami before the formation of the gotei/academy, but it just seems random or one of those cases of Kubo forgetting what he wrote early on.

I think just about every fighting game/movie/show/manga uses that pose for something or another. If you want to compare to something, compare to old guy Whitebeard in One Piece since they are in kinda similar situations and may have similar results...
