Film studios sometimes buy rights to movies just because later they think they may be able to make lots of money off it later down the road, but don't want to get beat by some other studio to acquiring the rights. Then they can hold onto it for years and never do anything until their rights expire and some other company buys them.

and even if they do make a film relatively soon, I'd bet a hell of a lot of money it wont have much relevance to the anime story wise. Only the basic concepts of it.

Could be done into a solid movie, but therefore wont happen that way. IMO the pre-SS was the strongest part of the story. Honestly I think kubo would be a better episodic monster-of-the-week style writer, which early bleach had quite a bit of

Thats too long for a movie, it would have to be rushed. A movie should just have one idea to it not multiple little things to it. Going from getting powers story, which might need the whole Ichigo learning from Rukia about hunting hollows, to story about his mother to Quincys is too much. Just getting his powers and fighting Grand fisher would be good. That way it develops the main charcter and its one solid story. He gets attacked cause of his strong energy, gets powers, learns to use powers, finds out his mother was killed because of his energy, avenges his mother.

That the hollow appeared immediately after his meeting with Rukia; that the menos appeared because of the Quincy bait;
That Rukia was discovered in the real world, and that the circumstances were well reported in SS;
That in SS the captain class shinigami Ichigo fought all had strength comparable to his Ichigo's at the time.
"Didn't you think those were all strange? " Ichigo swings his sword at Aizen but Aizen stops it with his palm.
Aizen continues speaking. He asks Ichigo, "How could I know all the facts?
Who do you think had Rukia stationed in the real world?
Who gave Renji's equipment the ability to detect reiatsu?
Who provided the Vice Captains with the information regarding the direction of your moments?
Was I truly unable to pinpoint the location of the hougyoku for the past 100 years?"
After he finishes Ichigo asks Aizen for the basis of his conviction that Ichigo would become his greatest raw material.
Aizen responds, "It's because I knew you from the beginning, from the time you were born.
In addition you were special from the moment of your birth. Because you are a shingami and..."
Aizen stops mid sentence as Isshin has arrived. Until next week.
