Although I like the idea of Isshin being badder than Aizen, it's too cliche and honestly I would hate the manga much more if it were true.

But if Isshin is stronger than Ichigo or just as strong as Aizen, it would make more sense for him to either die (evil or good) or to be stripped of his powers because if Isshin can't beat Aizen then Ichigo can't beat Aizen.
