if you look closely at the bottom right panel, the second guy from right... looks like Isshin, or at least really close. Anyone else seeing it? lol
That does kind of look like him lol, but I'm not sure if that could be him. He's still alive. Unless there's someway to become human again after becoming a shinigami, and he was able to have kids with a human woman. I'm thinking he went through something similar to Ichigo where he became a substitute shinigami.
I really hate the fact that im excited for the next chapter even if its solely because of isshin's manliness.
It's the chest hair, not a one of us can resist it.
I'd always wondered whether Ichigo's lineage would come into play - I don't know how often mortal/shinigami pairings present themselves, but the fact that his father was revealed to be a formidable shinigami was bound to be a salient point in the manifestation and development of his powers.
I don't particularly enjoy it when Aizen pulls his "just as planned" shit, but even I found it hard to believe that there'd be a strong shinigami out there raising a mortal family without being watched by Soul Society. That shinigami siring hybrid children should be of even greater interest, so it makes sense that Aizen would have taken notice.
If Aizen's been running shit since "Turn Back the Pendulum," it suddenly makes perfect sense why Soul Society would lose track of several captain class shinigami in the most spiritually dense location on the planet, but suddenly manage to catch one lone 3rd seat after she lost her powers. He'd been tracking the hogyoku's movements (supposedly), and wanted to hide it from the rest of Soul Society.
Of course, roflcopter yet again at "just as planned... yet again."
My only question is that if he's powerful enough to have done all of this over the last century, then why the secrecy? Why not usurp control of Soul Society and carry out his experiments as he sees fit? Exactly who is Aizen hiding from?
Isshin, duh
Someone could easily argue the fact that until he was completely ready, then the Zero Squad would've stepped in if he was getting too powerful at the time... maybe back then they cared more? Idk, this is Kubo, I'm just enjoying this trolling at this point
In before Ichigo's mother was a Hollow
aizen was about to say his parents were a shinigami and a hollow.
his mother was not killed by Grand fisher, his mother is Grand Fisher!
And Aizen planned this all when he was just an egg in his mother's womb.
ichigos mom was aizens lover. isshin had an affair with her and pissed aizen off. ichigo is not only a shinigami but a bastard child of cheating lovers!
We should have a contest to see who can troll the next chapter better than Kubo.
If interested, here is my depiction of what will happen:
Spoiler: show
what ever happens now. Isshin better make it fuckin epic =\
Out of curiosity did we ever found out who the two bodies were in the lab? I remember Kubo saying they were vitally important to the story--possibly an incoming "Ichigo's real parents"?
Ichigo is clearly under hypnosis.Damn.
And how ever did some of you believe Isshin to be a villian? Because he said "You talk to much?" That might mean he actually talks too much, something we all know. Also the fact we'll find out why he said as such in the next chapter, which I could guess he wanted to keep Ichigo's birth and circumstances behind it a secret.
It just seems that Aizen used the H-Cube thingy to see into the past somehow, and he talked up bullshit to disorient Ichigo while hypnotized! I know we all hate Kubo so much but damn. >.>
