Ichigo: "Ouch!!!"

Ichigo's blown off and clings to a building.

Isshin kicks him away.

Isshin glances back at Aizen, then disappears.

Aizen: "Taking him off to a distance?...A wise and clever move. Is it in the blood?"

Behind the building.

Isshin presses down on Ichigo's face.

Isshin: "Shut up! I know you want to ask me something!! Just pipe down..."

From behind Gin Ichigo comes swinging his sword.
Gin stops it, and Aizen watches.

Was nice to see some humor in bleach.

Not much plot progression but was one of the first chapters I've actually enjoyed in a while. Not really sure why. I'm excited to see Gin's bankai.

A good chapter, in my bleach...that's rare sight. It's not surprising considering Ichigo's father is one of the few character that has been constantly interesting, but still. Kubo really need to stick to the lighthearted mood that made bleach good early...his serious plot is just terrible.

This line is golden, especially if he say it in a fatherly tone.

I was thinking that it functions sort of like what happened to Hancock in that terrible movie, if the two shinigami decided to marry and have a kid, their powers had to be sealed for at least some period of time.

When Masaki died, that probably broke the seal, and gave Isshin back his powers.


That, or knowing Kubo, Masaki isn't dead and is in fact the Spirit King (Queen) and had to fake her human death in order to become it.



Also the next chapter should be epic
