It'd be Kubo's dumbest fucking plot-hole to date if Aizen didn't know who Isshin was or what he was capable of. He just stated no less then a chapter ago he was paying close attention to Ichigo due to some special circumstance surrounding his birth, something Isshin was obviously a part of. Kubo is bad but come on, he's not flat-out retarded.

Actually why he wouldnt know how powerful Isshin is is explained right in the chapter. Reiatsu erasure. If he can hide how strong he is then how can you be sure that Isshin ever NEEDED to be at max strength? The strongest opponent we've ever seen him against was the grand fisher and defeating him is no big deal. The arrancar were never put against him as evidenced by the fact that they're still alive and anything under arrancar level would give a false impression of how strong he is.

Not the next chapter, but the following, will have Aizen balancing out the battle with Isshin in some form or fashion. It might possibly be just by kidou or strength/skill which Gin foreshadowed.

Aizen experimented with hollow/shinigami hybrids. Observing Ichigo was a way of learning about human/shinigami hybrids. Going " I wonder if a human/shinigami hybrid has some special powers" isnt some sort of Light yagami master plan. Aizen tests things to see what happens and then makes a plan from that.

I'm not saying he wasn't thinking that. However, you're taking a facial expression that Aizen has made in almost every chapter for the last year and a half, through various situations, and making it seem like everyone here is retarded for not seeing something clearly defined from his reaction.

We get it, you're incredibly insightful and blatantly obvious storytelling such as Kubo's is absorbed without thought. Some posters like to toy with ideas (regardless of how ridiculous) and nobody really knows what Kubo intends half(read: most) of the time, so you should probably ease up on people.

ok, so I for one am a fan of the Isshin = pendulum arc Kenpachi, (I think I was the first to state that actually) which would make most of your statements true, however how youre stating all your "facts" is retardedly stupid.

He said he knew about him from the time he was born so he obviously knew who is dad was. This means, even if Isshin had the kid in SS or on Earth, he knew where and who Isshin was. He didn't just pretend the guy disappeared and is gone forever, especially if he would be strong enough to stand in the way of any of Aizen's future plans. Come on...

Also, his face at the end of chapter 397 isn't one of shock, awe, or "oh my gosh, you are still alive/came out of the blue", it is one of "took you long enough to arrive".

Obviously, we as the readers can assume that Aizen knows about Isshin as it is heavily implied - but it was never stated. It was heavily implied that Grimmjow survived, but it has also never been stated.

What you just did is the equivalent of going "Yea, there was that chapter where Ichigo did say Grimmjow was alive" and then instead of answer "Yea, on page 3 of chapter 401 you can see them talking" you say "Yea, well there was that flashback panel of him so it can be assumed he's not dead".

Clearly we read the same manga, but I honestly question your ability to cite a simple fucking reference. If there's anyone that knows his Bleach, trust me, it's me.
