    Hougyoku created by Urahara, acquired by and now in the process of fusing with Aizen. Well Ichigo is the next evolution of the Hougyoku. Born of a Shinigami and a human. No doubt Urahara had something to do with Ichigo's mother and father getting together. As Ichigo fights and witnesses greater displays of power by his opponents he becomes stronger and stronger.

    It only makes sense that Old Man Zangetsu is Ichigo's Grandpa and that is why Isshin knows Getsuga Tensho seeing how his Dad or Ichigo's Mom's Dad, does that even work?, taught him.

    Isshin begged Urahara to make Ichigo's zanpakuto his grandfather so he could be part of Ichigo's life. Urahara being the mastermind he is, developed a way to predestine peoples zanpakuto.

    From what I can remember, there are no actual zanpakutou owners that are related (Byakuya and Rukia aren't related), so, it hasn't really ever come up, I don't think.

    the issue is that just about 100% of the fake spoilers people are giving aren't funny. all of them are trying desperately hard to be, but they're just dumb. kubo not being a good writer wasn't much of a joke in the first place, and the brief time period it might have been died way way way way back in the beginning of the manga. everyone's gotta be "hilarious" though so i guess just plow away at the fake spoilers

    they aren't. or weren't. elder kuchiki's aura was green and byakuya's zenbonzakura is pink. flimsy as fuck reasoning but it's the closest 'proof' we've seen against the fact.
