It's ridiculous how each chapter Aizen just becomes more bland after his fusion, and Gin is becoming more appealing, almost as if it was deliberate.

Aizen: "Lol if you do this then *falls for it" well if you did that then *falls for it again* WELL NOW I KNOW WHAT YOU WERE REALLY SETTING UP WITH THAT COMBI- *gets Isshin'd* ..."

Honestly he's not even as cunning as he was a few chapters ago, now he's just being an annoying walking tank and that doesn't suit Aizen's character AT ALL considering the build up he's had. Only saving grace is he's managing to put in Gin in every chapter so far and his lines are on point for now, and Isshin fanservice. Although how the hell Kubo is

Well I know one reason he' becoming more bland, and it's also a perfect example of why in FMA, Greed doesnt full-time armor his face. It's much harder to convey emotions. Yes, even Aizen's smug overconfident smile conveys an emotion, and makes the character less interesting.
He's also got the thing Kaylia's already mentioned a bunch. Transform into a monster = you die. Though technically he's still human looking mostly, I'd say he has 1 more transformation to go.
He's also getting dumber via plotkai (see also plothole), because he can't be as smart as he has been if he needs to lose.

Most probably, Kubo's trying to make Aizen as unlikable and as uninteresting as possible so he can set up his big twist of him not actually being the big bad guy.

Holy shit, isshin using getsuga tensho wasn't a fake spoiler? wow....I really don't know what to say to that. It was kubo's own fault to make ichigo's "power" that move in the first place, but now it can be used by multiple people? Way to troll even yourself Kubo....

Nope, Isshin and Zangetsu are just future and distant future versions of Ichigo, they are all the same character.

Ishin is Ichigo who went back into the past and had sex with his own mom becoming his own father creating time paradoxes if i even began to understand would end the known Universe.

It was said at some point that getsuga tensho was similar to a cero.
Could this mean that Isshin is also a vaizard and/or that getsuga tensho isn't really something that was produced with/by Zangetsu but rather a more generic hollow sword-based cero-type attack?

Iirc, he learned Getsuga Tensho from Zangetsu. He learned the black Getsuga Tensho from his hollow form.

First time he performed Getsuga was against Urahara when training. Later on, he learned the name from Zangetsu before fighting Byakuya. His hollow used the black Getsuga against Byakuya and Ichigo emulated it later on. And then Ulquiora said his black Getsuga was similar to a Cero.

The way they explained how Getsuga Tensho works, it sounds like almost anyone who can control their reiatsu can perform it. Ichigo explained it as "my reiatsu is built up into the tip of my sword and released in one shot." Maybe it's just a beginner move that Zangetsu taught Ichigo. Ichigo hasn't stopped to learn anything new since his Bankai training where he both learned Bankai and his Getsuga Tensho move at the same time.

Oh, it's been so long ago I'm forgetting how the hero learned the only move he ever learned in the series... I honestly don't remember him using it against Urahara or that there were two different types (not saying you're wrong).
