lol so much Q_Q going on here. People bitching about how terrible bleach is (which is true) wanted suggestions for another manga so I suggest One Piece and people ask info about it. Is it so wrong to answer people question even though it's nothing really related to the topic? Who cares.

Well its not bad to answer it, at all, in facts its rather helpful. But you can always PM the person instead of derailing a thread, shitty or not.

I'm sure if i went into the almighty One Piece thread blabbing about how awesome Bleach is and posting links and vids to it i'd be told to GTFO.

Obviously, because you'd be wrong. Everyone agrees Bleach is terrible, so there's no good reason to think some other series isn't better than it based just on that

Actually my line there was emphasizing how bad Bleach is, without even taking into account how awesome OP is, Bleach is just that bad. And for the record, there is not a single anime/manga that makes OP look Bleach bad in comparison, not even FMA comes close to doing that.

Inuyasha, Dragon Ball(Z) and Bleach are generic shonen, if you like the characters, or big swords (in my case), you don't care so much about the story being ridiculous.

is there really a relation between DBZ's story compared to bleach's? i mean i thought dbz had an awesome story. the whole concept of the sayains and what not was pretty chill. and how there were suppose to be none left but having babies legitimately fixed that problem. etc

dbz didn't have a story. believing so makes you a dumbass. There was no plot holes in DBZ, because there was no plot. And actually, I'd say there most likely is plot holes in DBZ, but no one points them out or cares because indeed, no one watched dbz for the story.

Thats the thing Toriyama knew what he was doing, he didn't try to force story into it. Bleach follows the same DB arc structure: weaker bad guy makes heroes feel hopeless, heroes train, heroes fight weaker bad guys, strong boss shows up making heroes lose all hope, main character has flashy entrance and a power up that barely makes sense, and yet Kubo tries to add some sort of dramatic plot to it. The only way he can add drama to it is through crappy dialogue, Aizen has been watching you since birth, or cheap cliffhangers.
