New Ichigo hollow was all I wanted to see animated. everything after that is pretty retarded, so I wouldn't care if I stopped watching altogether.

Freeze part might feel "pushed" but it fits well. It explained why Goku was so damn strong and, in the end, made him defeat the worst bad guy around. Power levels were also clear, since you had the saiyans way above humans, on par with certain aliens, and the whole legendary super sayian beating the crap out of the strongest living creature.

Everything past that just doesnt make any sense. Characters becoming ultra-powerful because "they trained", cyborgs built on earth are now godlike beings and so on...


And, on the Bleach topic:

I really don't understand how Ichiko is now supposed to power-up AGAIN. He will certainly do, but he already played the "super human", "super shinigami" and "super hollow" cards. I think this leaves the "chosen one" card with him being godlike because he's mixed blood?

Well, like it's been said before, after the freeza saga, everything was mostly the doing of the editors and producers and such, making whatshisname go further with it. Hell, Android 19 and 20 were intended to be the super strong androids trunks warned them about, but the editors has other plans, and so the whole android 17 and 18 arc was created.

Not that that's really a good excuse for the creator to create shoddy work, since assumably they couldnt force him to continue the manga after he no longer wanted to make it. He just liked money.

Hell, DBZ was the most awesome thing ever when I was watching it on cartoon network when it originally aired. Many of the fight scenes are still pretty epic when compared to current anime, it's just that many more of the other aspects of the show were pretty weak.
I know I'm going to watch it all again with Kai. Same fights, with less filler will prove to be entertaining.
Androids just made their appearance btw.

Ps. DBZ just works, until the 7 year gap. Bleach stopped working after the first arc.

Almost forgot how incredibly irrelevant, pointless, and stupid it was to issue all the espada the "death" titles when they had absolutely nothing to do with them before or after that single page that talked about it.
Also just realized that the flower pedals that were a time limit for hitsuguya's bankai seemed to not even made an appearance this time. (same with the manga)

And they really have started taking things all out of order.

At about 14:00 in the anime Halibel does a 'Getsuga Tenshou' with her cero. Was this in the manga also, I forgot and am too lazy to look it up. Would be kind of neat if it was and we just didn't notice what it was since we didn't know how to interpret the panels.

Finding this made me realize the anime is going slightly out of order in events, but, whatever, jumping between fights is annoying anyways. Anime seems to be handling this stuff a little bit better than the manga (except that it is much more drawn out).

The lack of Hitsuguya's petals annoyed me throughout the ep. Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed.

You can see them in some of the manga scenes though, so I guess it was something the animation studio just left out.
