The training part is totally unoriginal, but I didn't mind it. The second half on the other hand...ugh...

Just keeps getting more interesting each chapter.

Top, Right is my reaction to this chapter. I guess the 411 on this chapter is that Bleach is too far gone to ever be decent again. Just popping popcorn and watching the trainwreck unfold also now.
Don Kanonji breaking the 4th wall makes him a genius.
So basically he knows that Kubo never kills anyone which makes him immortal or at least impervious to death. He's campy as shit because he knows he doesn't have to take a single thing in his life seriously as well as realistically having no fear of death since he's a named character. To top it off he's rich and since there aint any ugly women in bleach so he gets to run around all day while having hot groupies AND since he's a comedic character he can fuck around with the main character as much as he likes, get Ichigo to do all the work for him AND take all the in universe credit for it.
I wish he would stop putting comic relief in there ... does. not. fit. shinigami cup is different but this crap is just I don't know. I already know the chapter is gunna be garbage it's 10x worse when he tries to lulz it up -_-
Like I said. Kubo loves to just randomly put people in and also references to past chapters in so that people go "Hey he so awesome he connect the dots fararararararara!" but it's just fluff and nothing more.
I just want to see how it ends at this point. I think it's cool to see Kanonji again but just like with Yoruichi and even the Vizards it's just another dead-end plot point that serves no other purpose other than to remind you they exist.
Next thing you know, Rangiku will be battling Gin and having him challenge Aizen when suddenly Jidanbou jumps down and gets his axes cut in half again after getting them fixed by Kuukaku, who manages to temporarily seal Aizen away in a hidden dimension for 20 minutes which buys Ichigo enough time to arrive as Kon kicks Gin's sword away and Shinji swings his sword back in forth just before Aizen reveals it was all an illusion.
*breathes*
Best God Damn part of the manga.
I really hope this creates a theme of Gin getting more confused by the ridiculous plot twists in this series. After the look he gave Aizen and now this, it's like he's starting to realize it's all completely asinine.
Gin always struck me as a 'real' villian, he has motivations and complexities while still being a scary fucking monster. The fact that he has to run around with the bastard child of Cell and Light Yagami and fight the adopted child of Kenshin Himura and Yusuke Urameshi must piss him off something fierce.
Now I'm seeing spirit guns that shoot blunt-bladed katanas. Bastard.
Gin's face = classic
So, the Vaizards just showed up, let me guess, filler time?
Probably goes a bit further then this. The OP does have Kensei using his bankai. I'm interested to see if they'll take the time to animate an episode about what the fuck exactly happened between him and WW.
subtlety or grandeur?
Spoiler: show
btw, Onemanga's translation doesn't really have Kononji breaking the fourth wall, and onemanga's translation is usually the more correct of the translations.

Hachi's mask is epic.
Even with the 9 minute recap I feel like this sped it up a bit.
