I don't know man Rukia never really seemed to have a huge thing for Ichigo. Like definitely there's a really deep friendship and possibly some sexual tension implied but Orihime wants Ichigo bad and that's confirmed. I wouldn't be surprised that he'd imply that other girls are after the main character after all it's in almost every fucking manga/anime that isn't 100% serious.

You have to remember that with Tatsuki it's not so much an obsession with Ichigo and wanting to be with him - throughout the manga she's been consistently annoyed at how secretive he has been.

Tatsuki has been Ichigo's friend since childhood, so she feels entitled to know what's going on (she even jabbed Keigo for it before, asking why he and Mizuiro weren't as close as she thought). Since Ichigo wouldn't tell her about being a shinigami, fighting hollows, or other friends of his, she feels left out.

At least, I hope that's what it is. Ichigo has enough people loving him.

I always found Tatsuki as his original 'love interest', with Rukia coming and going all in one arc. Only other person I've seen him give interest in is Orihime and I don't give a shit about her so I couldn't care less if Tatsuki replaced her.
