The little argument between Hiyori and Toshiro was kinda funny.

This is probably the worst chapter of this arc. That says a lot, since this arc is fucking terrible.

Virtually nothing happened. It's like Kubo is stalling for time to think up something interesting.

'Kay, the chapter didn't go anywhere at all, but the interaction between characters hearkened back to early Bleach, prior to the Soul Society arc. Kind of refreshing.

And Mizuiro was perhaps the most entertaining bit of this chapter. Scrappy kid, that one.

I seriously don't get Kubo

He spends chapter after chapter focuses on the smallest of small characters that nobody likes.

But when it comes to like, say, the Vaizards, we get nothing. When it comes to something like, oh, Shinji, Shunsui, Hitsugaya, and Soifon v.s. Aizen, they're defeated in one panel.

But we need a whole chapter dedicated to this.

This is why bleach, and by extension, many manga, fail.

We know the main character cannot die. Right. Its the same as in any show. We also know that villians cannot win. Right. Gotcha.

This, however, is absolutely retarded. Aizen has been built up to be so strong that he bitched everyone that went out to fight, left with little resistance, and is but mere seconds from ultimate victory.

So what does he do? Relegate himself to smirking and chasing a bunch of kids around corridors like a scooby doo chase scene for no good reason.

Why? For no other reason than to waste time and allow for Ichigo to get his precious powerup. Either Kubo is going to troll us all and "claim" that some random human he's chasing is necessary for Aizen's plan, or he really is just the worst writer and has no other way to stall for time. Kubo should have spent more time letting the Vizards fight against Aizen if he was just going to do this tripe.
