There's one bit I'm having trouble with.

Ichigo and Isshin are currently in garganta, right? Their purpose there is because it's supposedly outside normal space/time, giving Ichigo an infinite amount of time to train, yeah? Then, they just waltz into Karakura town almost the instant Aizen arrives there... wasn't that the idea?

Well, if Ichigo's training is basically outside of time, why are we even bothering with this Karakura town shit? The past three chapters should have been nothing but Ichigo training and moving on to Karakura town. Did I miss something?

This is why bleach, and by extension, many manga, fail.

We know the main character cannot die. Right. Its the same as in any show. We also know that villians cannot win. Right. Gotcha.

This, however, is absolutely retarded. Aizen has been built up to be so strong that he bitched everyone that went out to fight, left with little resistance, and is but mere seconds from ultimate victory.

So what does he do? Relegate himself to smirking and chasing a bunch of kids around corridors like a scooby doo chase scene for no good reason.

Why? For no other reason than to waste time and allow for Ichigo to get his precious powerup. Either Kubo is going to troll us all and "claim" that some random human he's chasing is necessary for Aizen's plan, or he really is just the worst writer and has no other way to stall for time. Kubo should have spent more time letting the Vizards fight against Aizen if he was just going to do this tripe.

It's not outside time altogether. I think it was 1hour = 2000hours inside. So I guess we are supposed to believe that Ichigo has been fighting Hollowzangetsigo for the last 500hours or so with little to no progress.

Oh? I know what you're saying (and yes, you're right) but I thought Aizen wanted to get the royal key and ascend to godhood. Even if he is just happy taking on the role of creepy stalker guy to scare/enrage Ichigo into some new hax level of power (seriously, how much can we be expected to believe that pure anger and love of friends can influence someone to become 20 million time stronger than they were ust a few years ago?), can he at least do it without that stupid grin on his face? He looks like he's constantly got a 12-year-old giving him a rimjob while he stalks around.

Even though the chapter was a waste of time plot wise, it was actually fun to read since it felt like the first arc of bleach all over again. Plus watching a bunch of normies try to run from Aizen is entertaining in its own way.

Its stupid. We know they'll never die, so all of this is pointless. We'll see the same shocked faces, sweat beads running down faces, same useless guys getting slapped by Tatsuki, the same stupid grin on Aizen's face, and hopefully Gin will salvage each chapter with a nifty quip or an anxious stare over Aizen's shoulder.

At LEAST go back to the Ichigo fight, or go back to Fake town and show the recovery efforts of the Shinigami/Vizard.

Honestly I didn't mind this chapter either. Comic relief and the lesser characters are what got me into the manga to begin with, so it is refreshing. Just like isshin headbutting ichigo, I could take more of those chapters any day.

Yes, It's pointless for aizen to walk around following these kids when he could just appear inside them and explode them, but he did mention wanting to give ichigo time. Plus, lesbian chick is one of my fav characters.

Also, with the panels of Isshin still questioning Ichigo not being done yet, I'd assume that he is getting close to running out of time.

Because seeing ichigo stare Blankly at his opponent for 5 chapters, with a few trashtalk here and there would have been much more fun? Fight in manga are usually boring, and bleach is no exception. I would rather see the result of a fight then the actual fight.


Aizen wasting time is nothing short of ridiculous though, but at least, there was an attempt at comedy here.

No, fights in manga are supposed to be awesome. Bleach just has a cancer in it that requires 300 pages of talking and flashbacks for every sword swing, and that tax is getting higher every time Ichigo has to fight someone. It's DragonBall Z Syndrome, don't let it happen to your favorite fledgling series. Kubo used to have fun fights (I seriously thought we were going to get one with Kenpachi but noooooooooooo), but then he decided every single fucking subcharacter needs at least 6 panels per chapter for the last year and a half, and nothing is happening. Nothing.

Bleach is a dog that needs to be put down. Kill Aizen, timeskip to where Kaoru/Kenshin I mean Orihime/Ichigo have kids and end it with everyone drinking sake under a sakura tree. Bad shit needs to end so something new can take its place.

When all of this gets ran through as anime I'm gonna seriously come back and see how many people say this part of Bleach is still "stupid." I swear some of you did this during the Ulq fight, then when it anime'd up thought it was the coolest thing ever, lol.


Anyways, I'm liking this short story, despite it's pacing. Mizuiro fucks with Aizen and doesn't afraid anything; this is golden people. Also the final page of the chapter is very interesting if this sparks conflict between Gin and Aizen.

The anime right now is still stupid lol.

When they burn through XX~ chapters in 20~ minutes we're all going to be back here lol'ing when new episodes only run 8-10 minutes long with actual new animation. But hey, the 10 minute reminder of what is happening right now in the anime will be nice when they animate this portion of the manga because I'm sure we completely forgot what happened in "Turn back the Pendulum" that we needed such a flashback in the previous episode.
