I was actually going to say this. I hope what really happens is that Gin has weakened Aizen long enough to stall for Ichigo's arrival, where he either saves Gin, hears Aizen's weakness, or spends four chapters explaining how he got so strong.

It's pretty pathetic that you can tell the next chapter is going to have Aizen going "lol I r planned for that too u under my bankai hypnosis and uve been ded dis whole time".

It sounds like Gin has to leave a piece of his sword behind for the poison effect to happen. Which would explain why it hasn't taken effect on anybody else.

Of course its going to be cliche. When has Aizen ever just straight up won a test of skill? Its always been mind control, illusions, or some insta-teleport gib. I have yet to see him just dominate through swordplay or oppressive kido spells.

You make a man like Aizen that is 100% in both kido and swordplay, yet you never show anything but still shots of him after someone gets inviza-cut by his sword. It's bullshit. Kubo watched too many old Samurai movies when he was a kid.

In the pendulum arc he used kido to block an assault when he was walking away from all the unconscious vizards, Urahara, and Tsukabishi. I forget who it was that attacked, but yeah. I suppose that could have just been an illusion too, but whatever circular logic, etc. etc.

Shit.. because Gin was the one who 'killed' her she's not really dead. Kubo did it that way so he wouldn't have to think of an actual reason to keep her alive.
