This opens way for 3-4 chapters of what can be seen as actual BS -- Rangiku is actually alive, but put in a near death state akin to what happened to Zabuza in Naruto forever a long time ago (Kubo skimming offa Kishi's old work!), and she wakes up to a crit hit'd Gin. Meanwhile, Ichigo overcomes za new powa as per plotkai, then him and old man pops make it just in time to see the crit hit'd Gin, the school kids, Afro Samurai-Lite, and the SPIRITS ARE ALWAYS WITH YEW guy about to be killed.

... then just to piss everyone off, Kubo cuts from the story to continue the "100 Years Ago" story as another gaiden. Because you simply don't color page old era captains with "?" silhouettes.

In the pendulum arc he used kido to block an assault when he was walking away from all the unconscious vizards, Urahara, and Tsukabishi. I forget who it was that attacked, but yeah. I suppose that could have just been an illusion too, but whatever circular logic, etc. etc.

I remember, but it wasn't attacking. He's used one Kido. We've never seen a kido vs. kido fight on a high level. Why even include things like kido when the show is all about invisible shunpo slashes that make floating people fall down.

Best thing EVER would be if Gin actually did kill Aizen, but then at the same time Aizen kills Gin. And then when Ichigo is done with his training he has no one to fight!

If anything, Gin will probably pull it out and Aizen will have high-speed regeneration which nullifies or at least hold the poison at bay, and then when he least expects it, Ichigo will land an awesome hit and Aizen will be undone by the poison. That would be the best case scenario.

Knowing Kubo, though, Gin will take the Hogo and Aizen will disintegrate, then reform around it saying "lawl de hogo protects its mastah".

I can see this happening. Ichigo coming in thinking he's gunna save the day... screws shit up. Gin gets trolled and then ichigo hasta fight zerged aizen.

Obviously I'm skeptical that this is real at all, since Aizen himself could have lied about the secret to stop his shikai, but if so this is all sorts of WHAT THE HELL DID THAT JUST HAPPEN AM I DREAMING. If he does die the only terrible thing I can think of is that we never saw Aizen's bankai, but this just makes Gin's even better since it's pretty much the best thing for an assassination(I'm sure Soi Fong wishes she had it over her current one for that purpose, only 1 stab needed instead of 2).

I'm still gonna wait a week though cause I don't trust Kubo, he's lied to me before.

It doesn't matter what story he writes, he rushes the fuck out of it. To clarify: the manga is still long and boring, but actual plot developments happen either way too quickly or way too quickly. I mean - Gin should have just killed(lol, yeah right) Aizen as soon as they left the magical tunnel w/e the fuck.
